Caleb wasn't sure when he had fallen asleep. He had honestly no clue how he managed to pull it off when he had been currently stressed over what the four demons could be doing, but it happened. One moment he was thinking about what he should do to ensure his peaceful life, and the next he was waking up to the sound of banging on the door.

He sat up as he tried to process what was going on. Where had Takisha and Mildred gone? Caleb had thought he heard them say those two would stay behind to watch him, but there was no one else in the room with him. Suddenly, the door slammed open, and a familiar face came into view. It was his aunt, and she looked absolutely furious.

"Explain yourself," she demanded as she stormed up to him.

It took him a moment to recall why she was upset. Seeing his cousin being comforted by his uncle behind his aunt was a huge clue. She must have told them what happened. Well, it wasn't like he hadn't been expecting this, because he had. However, he had expected th
