Chapter 117 (Private Investigator)

Agent Conner arrived at the police station, and the bustling atmosphere immediately caught his attention. Drake had instructed him to try and reopen the case regarding the death of his parents which was buried a long time ago.

Drake had done everything he could to make sure he didn't involve the police, but it seems as though none of it was working. He really needed to know more about the IRIS and what really happened to his parents.

As agent Conner entered, he saw people coming and going, and the air was filled with the sound of ringing phones and urgent conversations. He made his way inside to the desk officer, carefully holding onto the file he had obtained from Drake.

Suddenly, a man dressed in black, and wearing a hat which covered his face, bumped into him, causing Conner to stumble and nearly drop the file. "Hey, watch it!" he exclaimed, but the man simply muttered a quick apology and hurriedly made his way out of the station. Agent Conner couldn't shake off the feeling that th
