Chapter 2: New director Arrival

“It’s good if you agree. Tomorrow morning, you will be the branch CEO of Enigma Enterprises in the city of San Setillo, how about that? I can arrange everything,” Ornell said with a smile.

Charlie is Ornell’s grandson. That status made Charlie confident!

“But I am really the new director!” Charlie waved his hand.

“Security! Security! Drag this person out!” Without further ado, Jekeil immediately called security.

In an instant, a dozen security guards rushed over.

And at that moment, a luxurious car slowly approached. This car was the one Charlie had seen in front of his house earlier.

“He’s here! He’s here! This must be the new director!” the employees exclaimed.

GM Wakee shouted out, giving instructions, “Everyone please get ready, we’re going to welcome the new director!”

After saying that, Mr. Wakee, along with other executives, hurried towards the car.

And at that moment, the car door opened, and a middle-aged man stepped out of the car.

Charlie recognized him briefly. Yesterday, this middle-aged man was always by his grandfather’s side. He seemed to be his grandfather’s secretary.

“Mr. Wendall, why are you alone? Is the new director unable to attend?” GM Wakee greeted.

“The new director should have arrived. Haven’t you met him yet?” Wendall asked.

Wendall looked around. Eventually, his gaze fell on Charlie. Then, Wendall hurriedly approached him with a smile on his face.

Wakee didn’t understand what was happening. But he, along with other executives, followed Wendall’s lead.

When Wendall arrived in front of Charlie, he quickly bowed respectfully, “I apologize, Mr. Charlie, the traffic suddenly became congested, so my arrival was delayed.”
