As Shen Long’s voice boomed out, Ling Shui's indifferent voice responded, “We’ll see about that.”

“SWOOOSH!!!”

Ling Shui’s scattered Spiritual Qi started coalescing at a rapid speed. In a matter of seconds, a five-meter large ice giant wearing armor appeared.

On the giant's armor was an extremely detailed carving of a dragon that was roaring to the heavens. The helmet covered the ice giant's entire face, only leaving two slits for its glowing blue eyes to be seen.

Casually held within its hand, was a massive broadsword that was easily the length of two adults, and its width was around two meters.

With a loud bang, the giant let the broadsword fall to the ground.

Immediately the terrifying weight of the sword was revealed as it cracked the ice-covered ground for several meters while kicking up a small cloud of debris.

All and all this ice giant conjured by Ling Shui was extremely intimidating, especially after feeling the overwhelming aura emanating from its body.

The disciples far off in the distance couldn't help but suck in a cold breath of air upon seeing the ice giant.

“That’s young master Ling Shui’s signature Daoist magic, Ten Thousand Ice Creation!” One disciple exclaimed.

Even Chenguang who was expressionlessly standing around eighty meters away sported a grim expression. She even moved back several more meters away.

The fact that Ling Shui used this Daoist magic meant that he was going all out at the start.

Shen Long himself was still casually standing where he was, he seemed unconcerned about the massive ice giant in front of him.

With a sneer, he said, “Ling Shui, didn’t I tell you your techniques are nothing to me now? Are you looking down on me by not using that ancient technique?”

Ling Shui didn’t respond to Shen Long, and only control the ice giant to attack.

With speed unfitting for its size, the ice giant crack the ground below its feet as it shot towards Shen Long. Reaching in front of Shen Long in mere moments, the giant hefted the broadsword over its head and brought it down on him.

Feeling the pressure of the broadsword bearing down on him, Shen Long’s casual air was gone and a tyrannical aura took its place.

With a low growl, Shen Long lifted the halberd from his shoulder and met the ice giant’s broadsword.

Immediately, a huge shock wave was produced from the collision that caused all the surrounding ground to be rooted up.

Within the resulting wreckage, the body of the ice giant was seen flying away, its weapon was shattered into pieces with several visible cracks on its armor.

Sprinting from the cloud of debris, Shen Long moved at inhuman speeds to follow up with another halberd strike.

With nothing to defend itself, the ice giant could only cross its bulky arms in an effort to block Shen Long's halberd. However, Shen Long’s strike seemed to contain the force of a falling meteor as it effortlessly cut through the ice giant's arms and then its entire body.

Without stopping, Shen Long charged towards Ling Shui.

The image of Shen Long easily cutting down the ice giant made the disciples' eyes bulge with shock.

Shen Long seemed to be an unstoppable force as the tyrannical aura around him raged on constantly.

In only a couple of breaths time, Shen Long moved across tens of meters to appear in front of Ling Shui and ruthlessly brought down the large halberd on him. The strength of this strike, judging from Shen Long’s inhuman strength and the halberd’s massive size and weight, this attack could shake mountains and part rivers.

But despite that, Ling Shui was just calmly watching the attack approach him with his hands behind his back. He made no attempt whatsoever to block Shen Long’s devastating strike.

Shen Long’s eyes narrowed into slits, while a sense of unease washed over him, but he did not stop his strike. As a matter of fact, his once skinny arms bulged with muscles that were the size of an adult man’s thigh, before the violent sound of the halberd cutting through the air echoed in the ears of the disciples' nearly two hundred meters away.

This strike went from shaking mountains and splitting rivers, to destroying mountains and emptying seas within a split second.

Shen Long without hesitation brought his halberd down on Ling Shui. He was confident that with him being so close to Ling Shui, he was unable to conjure another ice giant in time.

He had no choice but to show that ancient technique to him. Whether it was a technique powerful enough to stand up to his strike, Shen Long did not care. This strike of his wouldn’t kill Ling Shui, but it certainly will leave him within an inch of his life.

The halberd came down on ling Shui and as Shen Long was waiting for what he would do, he suddenly saw that the unmoving Ling Shui had a cold smile at the corners of his lips along with a look of ridicule within his gaze.

Everyone watched in shock as Ling Shui just stood there and let Shen Long’s halberd land on his chest.

As everyone was waiting for Ling Shui to be sliced in two or at the very least be sent away flying with a massive wound on his chest, the only thing they saw was Ling Shui being shattered into pieces as if he was glass.

Shen Long’s halberd slammed onto the ice-covered ground and was rooted up yet again creating a large crater eighty meters in diameter.

Everyone was staring blankly at the debris fill battle with absolute confusion and stupefaction.

“Wh..what just happened? Did young master Ling Shui just…”

That disciple’s words trailed off as he couldn’t find the right words to describe what he had just seen.

Shen Long who was still in his striking position, had an ugly expression on his face as he looked around his surroundings.

Suddenly Ling Shui’s voice echoed out on the battlefield.

“Shen Long, you said you wanted to see the technique I obtain from the Ancient Treasure Palace, right? Well like I said before, make sure you don’t regret it.”

Everyone started looking around the battlefield to see where Ling Shui was, but he was nowhere to be seen.

Listening to Ling Shui’s voice made all the disciples get the feeling of him being omnipresent, it was a very strange and peculiar feeling.

Shen Long got the same feeling as well, but it was more intense, and hearing Ling Shui's words made an overwhelming amount of foreboding raise within his heart.

Before anyone could react, the ice that Ling Shui’s Spiritual Qi had covered the battlefield with, began to radiate a blinding blue light.

No one had noticed it before, and even if they had, they hadn't paid it much attention. However, all the disciples look below them and saw that the ground was frozen and giving off a blue light as well.

Starting from where Ling Shui previously was and where Shen Long was standing now, the ice on the ground stretched to a thousand meters in radius.

Upon seeing this, Chenguang's face turn deathly pale before the two pairs of majestic white wings appeared on her back. Wasting not even a second, her figure suddenly flash towards the edge of the ice-covered ground.

Shen Long’s reaction was just as fast, but before he could get far, a blue lotus suddenly appeared below his feet after which a frigid cold aura suddenly emanated from it, freezing his lower half in an instant, effectively stopping him in place.

The hundred or so disciples’ reactions were a bit behind, but they still frantically rushed towards the edge of the ice cover ground, which was still releasing that blinding blue light.

One of the disciples that was a lot slower than the rest, couldn’t but look behind him to see what was happening to Shen Long.

However, his eyes immediately went wide with horror before he cried out hysterically.

“Fucking hell!! What is that?!!”

As that disciple’s voice echoed in the ears of the ones in front, they all turn to see what warrant his screams, but their faces drained of blood as they saw that only mere dozens of meters behind them, was an ever-expanding giant blue lotus.

The small blue lotus that had appeared below Shen Long’s feet, had increased in size to around two hundred meters in a matter of moments.

All the disciples frantically slap their storage bags and pulled out flying magic treasures and flying swords. After infusing their Spiritual Qi into it they hurriedly hopped on and quickly shot across the remaining meters to reach the edge of the glowing ice-covered ground.

As soon as the last disciple crossed it, the blue lotus fully engulfed the thousand meters ice-covered ground.

Within the center of the blue lotus, Shen Long could be seen there breathing rather heavily as he propped himself up with his large halberd. His once skinny body of 5’10 had now become a burly 7’10 that was filled with muscles. However, aside from his heavy breathing that produced white puffs, one could see several large and small gashes all over his body. His ragged clothes were practically non-existent, as he only had a piece of garment that hang from his waist, blocking his privates from view. Being in the center of Ling Shui’s Daoist magic, Shen Long could feel the frigid energy invading his body which caused his arms and legs to slowly become numb. It had taken him all of his strength to yell those words, but soon after he did the frigid energy around him multiplied. The manifestation of his Tyrannical Demon God body, a dark reddish aura that

If I did, then there would have been no point in me cultivating my Tyrannical Demon God body.” Ling Shui frowned upon hearing that.
