BREAKING OUT THOSE WALLS

“I'm here.” Byron said behind the cop who was now pointing his gun at Sucre.

Sucre took a deep breath. He had never felt more relieved.

The cop placed his gun back into his pocket and said, “Where were you? Inmates are not allowed to be out by this time!”

Byron took a look at Sucre and then back to the cop, “It won't happen again… I promise.” Those words were the only thing he would say. There was no time to come up with a lie since he had a bigger problem in his hands.

The cop he knocked out might recognize him as soon as he wakes up and rat him out. The moment the cop fell on the ground, he had run over here to at least meet the count.

He was damn sure that the officers would have seen the keys and also seen the unconscious cop lying on the floor.

“If this repeats itself, I promise there won't be a next time… get in.” The cop said, waiting for Byron who entered his cell without a word.

“Close cell 80.” He yelled out and Byron's cell was closed.
