LOOKOUT
“Fine.” Sucre shrugged and they both took turns in hitting the blocks.

They had to be gentle. It was 1am and all the inmates were asleep.

The floor was not looking so good since the tiles used in covering that spot were out.

Byron had hit the place and created a circle shape that they could pass through, so it was remaining the blocks used in building it.

Gently they used the hammer they had gotten from the storage to hit the block. It took about 6 hours before they were finally able to break the block in the hole.

Sucre sighed and fell on the floor. “Finally.” He laid on the floor, wiping his sweat. He and Byron had been breaking this non-stop for so long. His hands were aching and he sure needed some rest.

When he sat up, he realized Byron wasn't in their cell anymore. “Byron.” He called out and checked about but then, Byron wasn't there.

“I'm here.” Byron said from where he was.

Sucre heard him and quickly looked down into the hole they had spent hours digging.
