As the officer left, Sucre stretched his hands out for a shake, “Hey man…”

Byron looked down at his hands then back to his face. “Who are you?” He couldn't help but feel Tee’s death had something to do with him.

Because why was he of all people transferred into his cell a few seconds after his cell mate's death.

Sucre dropped his hands and placed his bedsheet on his side of the bed, which was the bed above Byron's bunk bed.

He climbed up and looked down at Byron who fixed his gaze on him, “The name is Sucre… I don't know you but I know someone is going to die if you don't break me out of here.”

Byron leaned to the wall, “Let me get this straight: I was framed and brought in here, to break you out?”

“Exactly!” Sucre nodded. “We have limited time my friend…”

“I'm not your friend.” Byron corrected with a firm tone. He of all people wasn't satisfied with this agreement especially since they had to keep Ljay as collateral.
