Leo Dane was in his well furnished apartment, reeking of immense wealth and riches.
He was having a sumptuous meal with his wife when one of his house maids came to meet him with an announcement.
"Sir, your visitors are here to see you."
"My visitors..." He suddenly recalled that he had a meeting with a representative of the Anderson family today. It had skipped his mind for a moment.
"Sure sure. Let them in."
Peter Anderson and Melissa walked into the beautiful interiors of Dane's abode. Such a beauty it was, and they could not deny it.
"Welcome, you two." Dane's wife welcomed them joyfully. She looked particularly happy to receive them even though she had no idea that her husband had a meeting with anyone in their home today. "It pleases my heart to see young couples in love. You both look so beautiful together."
Her words made Melissa blush, and Peter responded with a smile as they were offered a seat at the dining hall with the Danes.
"I don't recall asking you to bring your wife along, Mr Anderson." Leo Dane noted. He did not share the receptiveness which his wife procured. To him, it was rather disrespectful that Peter would visit him with someone else whom he never approved of.
For the first time, Peter was left short of words. He did not expect to be tackled so hard by Leo Dane at their very first meeting. While he was silent, Melissa hurriedly butted in to help him save face.
"He warned me of the consequences, sir. But all my life, I have always wanted to meet an integral member of the Imperial groups. This is entirely my fault."
Seeing how awkward the meeting was already becoming, Leo Dane's wife added. "You both remind me of my younger days with my sweet Leo. Back then I couldn't let him off my eyes for even a minute. I had to go wherever he went. And he never dared to say no, because he loved me so much."
Leo Dane scoffed at his wife's statement. "Or rather because I knew that if I said no, you were ready to do all kinds of crazy stuff to get back at me."
"Well... And maybe that too."
The old couple broke into laughter in memory of their old days as a young couple. It was the first time that Leo Dane would crack a smile today, making Peter and his wife more relieved. He was human too afterall.
"Tell me, Mr Anderson. Did your wife threaten to deny you your bedtime for a full month? Because that was what I faced back in the days..."
From thereon forward, the lunch went smoothly. Peter found his touch with Leo Dane and it turned out that they both connected, having a whole lot in common.
Melissa also found her space with Mrs Dane, and by the time the meeting ended, the four of them had a great time together.
Peter was particularly happy. This was going so well for him. If he was able to become friends with Leo Dane, then he would have no problem becoming business partners with the entire Imperial group. It was only a matter of time before that dream was fulfilled.
His father would be so happy. And his grandparents would be proud of him, achieving what they could not achieve.
"I have to say, Mr Anderson. I am very impressed with your personality and I can tell from here that in the near future, you would be a very good partner with our companies. Here is a business card that is exclusive to only Imperial's group most trusted associates. Feel free to visit us sometimes." Leo Dane expressed as the lunch came to a close and the both men shook hands. He handed a black card each to Peter and his wife.
Melissa also exchanged hugs with Mrs Dane. "It was such a nice time with you, ma'am. I learnt a lot from your wise experiences."
"Oh dear! You flatter me." Mrs Dane waved away the praises, smiling as friendly as ever.
As the old couple accompanied Peter and Melissa out of the building, an idea struck at Peter. His eyes glared brightly as he digested it immediately.
"I have a favor to ask you, Mr Dane. I hope you would grant it to me." He began, looking bright with intentions.
"What is it?"
"As my wife and I visited your home today, right by the gate, we found a man constituting a nuisance and disturbing the peace of your environment. No. Not a man, he is actually a nobody who just happens to be everywhere seeking attention."
"Who are you speaking about...?" The Dane couple had no idea what this was about.
Peter pointed towards the gate where Micheal was still present, trying to gain entry by talking to the guards.
"I am sure he is a mad man. We met him on our way in and surprisingly, he is still here now. No offense intended, but I have to say your security team is not aggressive enough, Mr Dane. Allow me to fill in the lapses."
Leo Dane stared for a while at the young man who was at his gate. He had never seen him before from anywhere.
The moment Micheal caught wind of Dane's presence, he doubled his efforts in trying to get through, waving and calling at him with escalated hopes.
"Take care of him, Mr Anderson." Leo agreed after staring for a while. There was no way that nobody had come to see him.
"With pleasure." Peter smiled with evil as the Dane couple returned into their home, leaving the reins of justice in his hands.
"Now we shall see who is a peasant."
Peter directed the guards to seize Micheal and beat him to a pulp. They obeyed and jumped on Micheal who was outnumbered and eventually overpowered.
"Wait! You don't understand! You don't wanna do this!!"
They did not listen. Peter screamed command into them.
"Deal with him!! Break his legs!!! Show the peasant what it means to be a real man!!!"
Melissa clung onto Peter's arm, watching with happiness as Micheal got punished right before her eyes. Exactly what she wanted. How better could today become?

Meanwhile, as soon as Leo Dane retired into his room, one of his house maids came running.
"Yes sir, you have a message from the chairman."
"The chairman? What is it?"
Leo received the phone. Inside of it was an announcement he had never expected to see.
"What?" He exclaimed in shock. "Chairman Imperial's long forgotten grandson has returned? And he will visit me today?"
He rose to his feet in disbelief. How was this possible? The last time he heard anything about Micheal, it was many years ago. He never dreamt or thought that the chairman would one day call back for his grandson.
Leo had been working for Chairman Imperial since they were both in their twenties. How could he take such a step without him knowing anything about it?
"According to the message, the chairman's grandson would have arrived at our gates many minutes ago."
"But... But we have not seen anyone yet." His wife noted, seemingly confused.
"Oh no..." Leo Dane had an idea. And he hoped it was not true. He hoped it was not what he was thinking.
"Don't tell me that he is the one..."
The mad man at the gate. The no name that Anderson requested to take care of.
Realizing that the man whom he ordered to be taken care of by Peter Anderson might be the heir to the Imperial holdings, Leo Dane scrambled his way towards his own gate, his tail between his legs."Where is he?!" He screamed at the security men. None of them could grasp what he meant at once."Sir.. who.. who are you talking about...?"Agitated, he grabbed one of them by the collar and dragged him closer. "The strange man who wanted to see me, where is he now?"His voice held a dark glint, sufficient enough to ring the bell of memories. "The low life? Mr Anderson asked us to get rid of him as soon as we were done teaching him a lesson. Just as you asked."Leo Dane's eyes furrowed in rage. What have they done? To Michael Imperial? To Albert Imperial's grandson?! He knew for sure he was in trouble now, and all this was because of that one dumb man - Peter Anderson."That son of a bitch!!"He dragged the poor security man even closer by his collar. "Go out there now and find that stran
The private jet landed with a resounding smoothness. It was like a golden bird landing from the skies, coloured in the shiny stripes of silver. The door spread open like a shooting row of steps, leading all the way down to the feet of the waiting crew.Leo Dane, his wife and his men stood in anticipation, ready to welcome Albert Imperial into his humble abode. No matter how wealthy Dane had now become, it was all due to the Imperial influence and his money was nothing compared to what the Imperials had. This was why he had a strong feeling of paranoia as his boss approached closer. How would he tell him that he had turned away his grandson right at his gates? And that too after subjecting him to physical assault?"It is nice to finally see you after all these while, Leo. I can see you're making the most of your time off from duty." Albert Imperial met Leo Dane with a smile, putting a hand on his shoulder. One could tell that the chairman was weak from the way he walked and talked. Ye
" Peter, what just happened?" Melissa asked immediately she noticed Peter stopped the car. He reversed and packed by the side of the road. She knew that the very short conversation he had just had with his father didn't turn out well." What's going on Peter, answer me? What did he say happened?" She asked again, the tension palpable in the air that instant as she noticed her husband's formerly happy demeanor contort into a frown." I don't know Melissa, I don't know!" He said, raising his voice. " I don't even understand why my dad is mad" " He told me to find a solution to the problem I caused"" Problem?" Melissa asked shocked " What problem? We've just met the personal assistant to the chairman himself. This man also holds a great position in Imperial Holdings, how could there be a problem?"And, we've got proofs too. Didn't you tell him?" Melissa asked." How could I when he hung up already before I even got the chance to say Jack Robinson" Peter muttered." W.. what's going on
" Good morning Mr. Imperial" a lady with a honey-brown long ponytail and glasses greeted as the new CEO of the Imperial Holdings walked into the building that bright, sunny morning. " I'm here to assist you with your duties and also help you with handling anything you might need help with" she said as she hastened her steps to catch up with her new boss. " And you're?" Micheal simply asked without turning to face her. " Your secretary" she answered. She was to be his secretary and had been assigned to him on the chairman's orders. He only nodded and continued moving. His grandfather had prepared everything upon his arrival. Although, there were still some things he had to sort out first. Things like getting late Martin's assets away from those pesky evil families. The staff present at the company's very exquisite lounge all stood amazed with deep respect and awe as they watched the young gentleman clad in the latest tuxedo design walk in with a confident gait and stride. He had
" Aaargh!" Peter grunted the moment he got to the front of his door. He hadn't expected him coming back home with another negative news again. He was not even allowed to enter the company's premises let alone speak with the CEO. What in the world was he going to tell his grumpy old man?Kicking the door to his apartment open with a yell, he walked in dejectedly, his face contorted in a deep frown, while his teeth were gritted in anger. He hated what he had to go through at the Imperial Holdings not quite long ago.He was humiliated and treated like garbage. Imagine! They had to push him to the ground like some animal. He had to change his clothes in a boutique at the end of the streets as he had been reduced to nothing but a homeless looking pauper and he could not return home in his ruined clothes.Walking towards the bedroom, he made for the table that stood at the corner of the living room and flung the vase on it angrily, causing the object to smash into a thousand pieces across
" Mr. Imperial sir, I have spoken to Mr. Anderson just as you instructed" Joyce, the personal secretary to Micheal informed him the moment she dropped the telephone." I told him about the condition he has to fulfill if he's to get an audience with the company" she added while adjusting her glasses." Thank you very much, miss…? I never caught your name." Micheal stated." Joyce, sir"" Alright, Miss Joyce. Thanks." He muttered. " Are there any other activities on my schedule for the day that I need to know about?"" Urm…I think, you're done with almost all of them, except…" Joyce paused to get a good glance at the file in her hands." You are free for the day except, you still need to meet with the chairman. We're going to set a meeting up for that very soon" she informed him.A meeting with the Chairman. Old Albert Imperial was yet to meet him in person and he was certain that the man could not wait to see him." Is that meeting going to happen today?" Micheal asked." No, not toda
" Good morning young master" Morgan greeted Micheal the moment he sighted the gentleman walking out of the gates of the mansion he was currently living in.His grandfather had had the servants prepare a grand space for his grandson to stay ever since his arrival. And, after so much persuasion and effort put in by Alegria and Morgan to convince him to come back to his real position, Micheal finally decided that he was going to stay in the house that had been prepared for him. It was one of the many properties that the Imperials owned in the city asides many others that were spread across neighboring cities and towns. How one family could grow so big and large overtime was still a marvel to many. Any company or industry that wanted to excel used the Imperial Holdings as a case study. Their tactics and strategies were worth imitating. But, no one could ever surpass them at ranking and maintaining the #1 place in the business industry." It's time to leave now, sir" Morgan informed hi
" And to what do we owe this pleasure? Why have you come to visit Mrs. Anderson?" Melissa heard the husky voice ask the moment she got into the palace sized living room of her parents mansion. She turned around to check out the person who had spoken. It was no one else but her annoying brother." What's the update with the Imperials? Was my 'dear' brother-in-law able to hit the jackpot?" He asked with a chuckle." Modrich, good morning. Where's our mother and our father?" She asked, walking closer to meet him." I need to see them. And I mean, right now!"" Really? And to tell them what?" Modrich scoffed. " To tell us all about your husband's failure at securing a simple deal with the Imperials?" He grumbled while fiddling with his cufflinks." Why didn't you tell me Peter couldn't do the job well?" He continued before taking a seat on the couch facing her directly. " I think I'm gonna take back all of my praises for him" he added while crossing his legs." What do you mean? We are t
