She was going to collect the phone and smash it on the ground when she saw the person she had come here to see. Edison Saylor. She had managed to book an appointment with him. She hoped she would be able to convince him to give her the contract this time.

She quickly stood up and walked over to him, a smile on her face.

"Hello, Mr Edison." She beamed him her most beautiful smile. The one that had won the heart of the governor five years ago that had made him pronounce her as the most successful businesswoman of the year.

But the smile didn't seem to work on Edison. He only looked at her. A look that said 'will you get out of my way?'

She beamed him another smile. "You could have called me to come inside your office, there is no need for you to—"

"Mr Ryan?" Edison called, completely pissed off with Mrs Hill's attitude. Does she think she is some important person that he would come looking for?
