The Revelation

"Are you ready, Adrian?"Emma's voice was a whisper, her hand warm on his shoulder. She had been his guide, his confidant, and now she was about to help him unlock a part of himself he had never known existed.

"I think so," Adrian replied, his voice steady despite the turmoil inside him. He stepped forward, his fingers brushing the rough surface of the altar. A soft hum filled the air, growing louder as he placed his hand flat on the stone.
