Raymond's idea was only on a whim, but he tested it, trying to test his luck. Should he say that it was part of fate or only the plot itself? Even with any of it, Raymond had won this round.

However, he still had to soothe the hostility of the investigator. This was the risk he had to walk on since he still had the weak body of a normal adult. Even with his magic, he could only use it as a showcase.

"I am a genius, so please can you hear me out? Will you? You already know that we are weak and don't have the ability to fight. So, hear us out." Raymond's fearless utterances

On the other hand, Sir Hones was extremely nervous about this event. He was frozen in his position as beads of sweat formed on his forehead. He knew he would die if he fought that person since it had been connected with the general.

Raymond's mention of the general made him nervous because being watched by an investigator wasn't a laughing matter.

With a gulp, Sir Hones faced Raymond.

"Hey!" he called in an inaudible tone. Raymond then shifted his gaze to Sir Hones. "What are you really doing? I still don't want to die! Not like this."

Raymond snickered as he shook his head.

"I have something that he could bring to the general that might also delight the general. If he kills me right now, it will be nothing to him. Even if he reported us as an anomaly, it would still need strong evidence. So... what would he choose?"

'It is wrong to read a person's personality by speculation. Human nature isn't something produced in books. Human personalities are similar to each other; what only differs is their personal interests.' Raymond thought.

"Then, sir Investigator, please come here. Let's have a talk. We are not dangerous, you know that."

It was also risky to show that Raymond was nothing but weak. Only the stupid would naturally bite it, but an investigator who was intellectually active, would not think of it as bait.

"This kid... he must have known me since that day." The investigator muttered to himself from the shadows.

Slowly, without any other choice to make, the investigator revealed himself. It was also possible that he would benefit from this conversation. If it was really true that Raymond was a genius, then General McWorthy would have raised his reputation since he had a good card on Raymond.

Aside from that, geniuses had the ability to open their profiles without awakening, and they had a bright future because they could progress at a rapid pace. And making him under General McWorthy was as useful as ever.

Then, if going against or trying to trick General McWorthy is their choice, they must be stupid since General McWorthy had strong political power.

It was also impossible that they were from outside the village since the security was tight, and he had also experienced how great their security was.

So... what was possible on the table was that this kid right here orchestrated the play since he wasn't even agitated about standing before his hostility. Meanwhile, the teacher was only the middleman.

Then, it was also impossible for him to go against the general. Furthermore, he might be using his "genius" card to get into the general's side and only used this play to hasten the process.

"Are you sure that I would give the general a word about you?" The investigator asked as soon as he revealed himself.

"Hah... I don't know if you would."

The investigator was silent. Was this kid only playing with him? Or maybe he was unsure if this investigator would give him a word to the general.

"Tsk. You are so hard to understand, kid. What is your name?"

He didn't have to ask for the teacher; he already knew his name since investigating him needed some primary information, and it was clear that this teacher had never been outside the village and was born inside.

"Raymond, sir."

Being a commoner also meant not having a family name. It was only natural to think that if someone didn't mention their family name, they are at least a commoner or just hiding their surnames.

"So, you are saying that you are a genius? How did you know anything about being a genius?" The investigator asked.

"I think you are not the person that should ask about this. The general should learn anything about me before you, sir."

"Well then, I'll inform the general about you and expect him to pay you a visit within this week. This is an important matter to us. And also the teacher. He should be in the special unit, not here. His sense would be useless as a teacher."

Without giving another word, the investigator disappeared into the shadows, leaving Raymond, who was delighted with the result, and Raymond also delighted because of the fact that his talent had been complimented.

"What is your Talent, Sir Hones?" Raymond asked.

Well, he already knew what it was, but for a smooth conversation and also to not leave any loopholes, he asked him about this.

"It is a secret." Then with a wink, Sir Hones turned his back and returned to where the students were.

Raymond had already achieved another phase in his plan. Now, what he should have prepared for was meeting the general. He already knew some of the general's traits, but even with that, he was still not complacent since it was possible that the general had only changed.

As Raymond returned home, he had already grasped onto hope. Later on, what his family had been suffering would disappear.

He was too weak to see his family suffering. At least he wanted to endure it, not his family.

Then, swallowing his perseverance, he should learn how to fix things now until he becomes independent. But of course, Raymond wanted to leave his family, where they were in a good state.

"Wow... Look at that big bro!" Lilia excitedly pointed out a butterfly that had entered their house.

Raymond smiled at his sister and patted her head. He had also realized that, after some problems, he should at least learn how to enjoy his time with his family.
