Affirmation

The wait was excruciating. Jake's palm became sweaty and so did his face. He tried to sit still but from the funny gaze that Cassidy threw his way at intervals, he knew that he wasn't doing a good job at it. The woman wasn't subtle about her amusement. She didn't try to hide her smiles that reached her intelligent eyes and from her eyes, Jake could see that she thought of him as cute.

"You don't have to be so worried you know. When Ray was telling me about you and your designs, he said some pretty good things. I'm sure that the clothe will be just perfect."

"Thank you, Cass." It had helped a lot to be reassured in such a way but still, his heart was troubled. Only the final verdict from Raymond would put him completely at ease. Thankfully, Ray didn't take that long to put on the clothe. He came back down in less than five minutes. Jake didn't look at the clothes on his body, he was concerned about the look on his face. The man was all smiles and that only reassured Jake.
