Anger wasn't allowed to be among the things he felt for he knew the man spoke the truth. Everything about his pretence was just that, a pretence. Sooner or later he was going to go back to Amanda and begged, as he always did. He just hoped that she would come to him before he goes to her.

"I know you're right." He said. "I'm just trying to avoid the inevitable."

"And the longer you wait, the worse it gets. You have to do it soon my man, 'cause if you keep procrastinating it, you will end up losing her forever." Jake didn't hear Cassidy walk in, he was busy thinking of what it would be like to lose Amanda. He wasn't sure if it would be a good thing or a bad one. Somehow, he wanted to find out.
