New Opportunities

The sun shone brightly into Raymond's room. It almost blinded his eyes. He was never a big fan of the daytime. He prefered night, at least then he could sway his secrets around without being seen. The only thing that made him love the sunlight was staring at his wife's face. He turned around and looked at her. She was the definition of perfection. Everything a man ever wanted. Regardless of the fact that she looked like a pig when she slept, to Raymond she still looked at beautiful as ever.

Slowly, he could see her eyes opening. It was a beautiful sight to behold. She had a little frown on his face as she woke up and a split second that was blessed with confusion. Raymond knew that she couldn't see him, she had a minute deformity that didn't allow her eyes to capture any image after two minutes of her waking up. So Raymond stayed mute, waiting for her eyes to clear up and for her to be able to see properly.
