Reconcilation

"You're out of your mind!" Jake exclaimed.

"I am not," Sasha said softly. Jake looked at her for a while, trying to understand what the woman was aiming at. Unfortunately, he found no angle.

"This woman tried to kill you!"

"I know that, you don't need to be repeating it all the time. Look, Jake, I know you. You are probably thinking that if you had seen Amanda creeping up from behind me then maybe you could have stopped her. But it's not your fault. You couldn't have seen her. Look, the longer you hold this grudge the longer you will be hurting yourself. So let it go."

The nurse opened the door slightly and poked her head into the room.

"Excuse me, sir, it's time for her bath " Jake didn't say a word and the nurse took that as an opportunity to go into the room, she helped Sasha get up from the bed. Before Sasha was taken to the bathroom, Jake spoke out.
