“Damn it!”

The young Lord of the Brown family, with a glass of whiskey in his hand, took a sip to calm his nerves. His thoughts ran rampant. He clenched the glass and threw it against the wall.

Pieces flew in all directions when he smashed it, making the servants duck.

“That overweight buffoon! He couldn’t keep his mouth shut!”

A knock on the door interrupted his ranting.

“Enter!”

A young woman shyly opened the door and walked over to the shuttered glass. “Young master, your father is here to see you…”

He clicked his tongue before walking towards the girl. Just as he got to the door, he turned around, looked at the servants and coldly commanded. “Clean up this mess!”

Ophelia caressed Jackson’s head as she embraced him. Her soft voice tickled his ears while she whispered. “Hear me, Jackson. Ruby’s eyes are a dead indicator of the Hynkel family. She won’t do anything to you. But one thing makes little sense. Why would this girl act against you like this? Something else must’ve forced her…”***While Jackson thought of Ophelia Woodfield’s words, Rosalia approached him.Her intense stare made him shiver, although he knew she wouldn’t do anything to him.“I see… So, you heard of our family ties…”The girl walked around him before having a seat on the sofa. She gently patted next to her, urging Jackson to sit beside her. When he obliged, Rosalia smiled.“You are correct. I don’t plan on killing you… But you are wrong about something. She walked across the room towards the locked door, which Lester tried to pry open. Rosalia continued with the same icy tone. “What do you want?”“Is it done?!”“Didn’t you want him to suffer?”Lester Brown banged his hand on the door. “Of course, that trash humiliated me…”“Then don’t bother me and let me do my job…”“Haha! Excellent!”Rosalia put her ear against the door, listening to Lester’s footsteps fading out. She let out a sigh of relief and returned to her previous position. She looked at Jackson with visible frustration on her face. “What did you do to him?”Jackson uttered with a chuckle. “I took away one of his toys…”Within a few minutes, Jackson received a call from Elena. With her help, the medical personnel sent by his grandfather arrived and, in coordination with the girl, they snuck into the room.***Several h

In order for Jackson to reach Eastal, he’d have to go through the kingdom of Rosenbaum. Because of the harsh landscape and uneven roads, driving there was close to impossible. The kingdom of Rosenbaum had a royal train built a few decades ago, for ‌allowing the nobles of the world to travel. They didn’t allow commoners to use it, instead they had to use the unfriendly environment of the ground, although they were the ones who built the tracks. It would take close to eight hours to travel from one side of the land to the other. Like anywhere else around the world, the position one got on the train could measure their wealth. For Jackson to get the tickets he needed, he first had to seek an audience with the Queen. Based on their meeting, he would assign a room and wagon.Just as Rosalia mentioned, she had trouble with directions and navigating herself from one place to another. Instead of taking him straight from Riverbank to the Rosenbaum kingdom, Rosalia took a detour, describing it

In the noble’s eyes, the queen was a weak woman who couldn’t really rule a nation. He just wanted to humiliate the young woman and gain prestige amongst his peers. He thought he could show everyone how a leader should rule. Brazenly, he commanded the royal guards, which garnered everyone’s attention for a while.A malicious grin appeared on his face when he put Jackson in his crosshairs. He thought little a disrespectful kid. He finally turned his gaze towards the young queen. “This is how you do it!”Just as a guard stepped forward, blood drained from his face when he met the queen’s gaze.“Hold it!”The previously soft-spoken woman let out a thunderous voice, freezing everyone in their tracks. The guards stomped their feet, and the noble let out a shriek.A glint appeared in the Queen’s eyes. She stared straight a

Different sections divided the place. The current head of the Hynkel family lived at the upper level, whereas Rosalia and her brother, as part of the branch family, lived in the lower. Men and women wearing black suits patrolled the mansion and the surrounding areas, with gun holsters strapped to their chests. The noble minister gargled in a pool of his blood. He laid on his stomach, unable to turn around. His face grew pale and the light in his eyes became dim.One could say it was because of the fear he felt at when Ulrich pounded him without remorse. It took but one punch to demolish his spirit.Queen Melina stared down at him from her throne. Silence brewed for several minutes until Ulrich stood next to Jackson. Then the Rosenbaum Kingdom’s queen spoke in an utterly bitter tone. “You, the minister of this nation, betrayed our people, broke laws and murdered innocents for your greed. As queen, I dismiss you from your duties effective immediately. You are to wait in a cell until the day of your execution.”She looked around and met everyone’s eyes, making them realize how serious she was. She then stood up. Just before she left, her voice echoed throughout the throne room. “Take this scum out of my sight!”Until this happened, her people and nobles thought she was just a figurehead not to

It followed a circular trajectory which tickled him.The two remained quiet for several minutes.A knock on the door brought them back from their haze. They both got up and dressed. Jackson went to the door. He knocked back and Ulrich pushed it open. The people I told you about earlier seem to be more active now.”The young woman smiled, buttoned her shirt and walked towards the door. She knocked twice. Her thunderous voice sent chills down Jackson’s spine. “Open the door!”Just as it opened enough for her to go through, the queen slipped outside. Soon enough, the people Jackson followed appeared in front of her. Ulrich flexed his muscles and shielded her.“Hey, Ulrich, push this thing a little more.”Ulrich stepped

Not only did he commit a crime by entering the premises illegally, but he found his way in the bedroom of the most important person in all of Rosenbaum Kingdom. After a few deep breaths to calm his nerves, he looked at the half-naked figure of the beauty sitting seductively on the bed, waiting for him to sit beside her. Reluctantly and at a steady pace, Jackson approached the queen. She couldn’t have been over twenty-five or twenty-six years old, yet she ruled an entire nation. No matter how one would look at it, Jackson couldn’t even come close to her magnificence. Their status was too far apart. Under normal circumstances, they wouldn’t be alone in a room like this.
