Anna managed a melancholic smile as she remarked. “Sure.”

Silence reigned for a bit as the duo exchanged eye contact only for Ethan to break the ice. “So wanna drive?”

As he spoke, he dangled the car keys in front of Anna.

“Fine, give them to me.” Anna ultimately relented, taking the keys from Ethan before getting into the car with Ethan following closely behind.

Once inside, Anna started the car and drove out of the compound while Ethan gave her directions to where they were headed.

Horizon was a real estate company in Metro City that sold houses to rich folks.

Because the properties they owned were mostly of the expensive variety, middle-class men didn't dare to show their faces in their establishments unless they were looking to be insulted.

Anyway, Ethan had booked an appointment and so had come to honor it with Anna as his trusty sidekick.

Of course, to avoid being recognized, he put on his white porcelain mask, intending to identify as Ghost during his house hunting escapade
