Chapter 17 : Teddy Bears

Long Time Ago

“...that's the plan. You already memorized it right?" Said the tall man to the two small children in front of him.

They have the appearance of twins, and can not be distinguished from the eyes alone.

"Yes Sir!" Reply the two children answered by nodding and so nervous. They were holding the teddy bears in their hands right now tightly. Behind it is a trigger that can be pressed for something

“From now on, if anything happens don't come back to me. I'm not going to look for you. Go!"

The man with a tall body and wearing a fedora hat left the presence of the two twins now. Mixed in with the crowd that was around the bustling place right now.

“Vahn… this is a very important task. We can't mess it up!” Said the boy to his twin brother. Both of them could not hide their nervousness and fearful expressions.

“Vahn! You must believe in yourself! You can definitely do it!” The twin brother of the boy held his shoulder hard while screaming. He had to steel his brother's mind now.

“Come on, keep walking. Don't make people suspicious!”

In front of them, there was a luxurious children's clothing store. Everyone who came and entered looked like they were wearing fancy clothes there.

Right in front of the gate, there was a fat security guard who greeted them warmly.

“Sweet girls. Where are you guys going? Are you looking for your parents?”

“We want to find our father? Can you find it? I'm sure he was here before."

"Okay, I'll take you guys..."

The security immediately escorted them quietly. For a while, nothing happened in there. Everything is still running pretty smoothly.

"Can you tell the characteristics of your father?"

“Our father has blond hair and a suit with a floral print. I'm sure you can find it…”

“Okay... I'll look for it for you guys...”

The security immediately went to look for the parents they had mentioned. The two twins were looking at each other now because their plan had partially succeeded.

“Tony, I'm not sure if we're going to find him. I'm really nervous!”

“I told you Vahn. If you don't find him, it's either that guy or we will die next!”

Vahn and Tony. Two twin boys are exploited by an underground organization to commit various crimes for them.

Because their appearance is so unique and so easy to disguise, they are assigned to kill various kinds of people with ease. Up to that point, the number of victims they had killed amounted to 10 people. And, no one knows that the perpetrators of the crime are the twin boys.

Usually, Tony would be the one doing the dirty work, whereas Vahn was in charge of attracting the attention of the guards or those around him so Tony's job could become easier.

Now, everything is reversed. Vahn had to do his dirty work because Tony didn't want to make his brother an unreliable figure.

Security returned, carrying a figure that closely matched both Tony's and Vahn's descriptions. The man looks against them when pulled by the Security because he is not their real parents.

“What kind of parents are you who even abandoned your two children? I can never forgive you!”

"I told you, I've never had twins!" The man in the suit resisted the security officer's insistence.

Tony opened the wallet that was in his pocket. A name along with a photo that looks exactly like the man who was dragged away. “James Callagher... There's no mistaking it. It was him.”

Getting his target, Tony immediately shouted while running trying to hug the man loudly "Dad!!"

The completely nervous Vahn joined in to scream just like his brother. It's just that his behavior that looks suspicious makes James, the target, suspicious.

“Wait... twins. I've heard of you. Members of the Triads and the Mafia in Europe, all admit that they saw twins before. Impossible!"

Tony who tried to hug James immediately turned around. The disguise of the two boys had been discovered by the target.

The little boy didn't have enough time to run from the pursuit of adults like him. What really got Tony stuck was that James' grip was so strong.

“You must be the assassins! I already know what you're going to do to me!”

James choked Tony really really hard until the boy screamed in pain. Security, the people in the shop, and Vahn were of course very surprised to see a grown man committing such violence to a childlike figure like him.

"What are you doing? Get your hands off that girl or I'll beat you to death!” Shouted security who called the other colleagues behind.

“You don't understand, they are monsters! With their innocent looks, lives have been lost countless times! The world would be a better place if these two devils disappeared!”

Tony, who couldn't move, pointed at his brother while still holding the teddy bear in his hand. “Vahn, we're already on edge. We have to carry out plan B!”

"But Tony?"

“Quickly run!”

With extremely rushed steps, Vahn ran away.

Tears began to fall, his sobbing breath could not be stopped. The crowd that was there trying to calm down Vahn was completely ignored by the boy.

“What exactly are you planning to do with me, you little devil? You've done a disservice to my organization! You think I'm an easy target huh?”

In such conditions, Tony even smiled. He showed his doll to James as if it was something important for James to observe.

"You are right sir. I really am the little devil. But it was a big mistake for you to hold me like this…”

James realized something, something was wrong with the teddy bear the boy was holding.

“No... Wait!”

“Die you Reptiles. Long live The boss!”

Tony pulled the trigger on the back of his doll. And instantly, the mall store building caught fire.

The explosion was so big that one floor of the mall collapsed as a result of the explosion.

Meanwhile, Vahn was running over crying while holding his doll.

He knew that his brother's plan would mean suicide.

Vahn regretted in his tears.

"If only I was stronger, Tony wouldn't have died like that!"
