Chapter 7 : First, We Feast

"Yes, Hudson, the man with glasses also said that the arena where I had fought before was my execution. And yet I still wondered why I was alive. I've felt a sharp object enter my heart."

When Spike tried to explain the matter, the gate in front of them was opened. And there, they're not alone.

There's a lot of people in orange jumpsuit that look like they've both been there and they're staring at Spike like crazy. It's as if seeing Spike like a ghost.

Spike doesn't know any of them even though he believes they're top-notch criminals. Their diverse body shapes and distances from normal human words have made him more convinced that there is something wrong with this place.

"Keep on walking, you can't deal with them now…" Whispered silver quietly.

They went to a large canteen yard with neatly lined tables and chairs.

At each end of the table are numerous guard robots with weapons in their hands. Finally, Spike feels something familiar in this place. This is the same as the typical prison cafeteria.

The two of them made their way to the food counter at the end. The line of prisoners waiting for their food is long. There's no guarantee that silver or Spike can still get their rations after this.

Standing there, Sike are getting uncomfortable. Their gaze turned into that look like they were trying to kill him. After all, one inmate with green eyes and long hair stuck to his fist seemed to want to plan something.

"What did you se-" before the person in front of the silver held Spike's emotions back from boiling over.

"I told you, don't approach them. You're new here."

40 minutes later, the line was moving. The tables are almost full at the moment. And soon, Spike will have his shift of food.

"What are you buying? "Asked the food stand guard who turned out to be a robot.

Weird menu drawings with no price attached to spikes.

"I want a sandwich, a burger, and a soda."

"All right, it'll cost 15,000 credit points."

"Huh? 15,000? Are you kidding me!"

[ 15.000 Credit points have been used. 5.000 credit left ]

Spike can't cancel his reservation because the food's been served. With a feeling of regret, Spike was not sure what to react to right now. If the price of food is that high, he may not last long enough.

With his own food in hand, Spike looked for the whereabouts of Silver who had been sitting first. And it turns out, Silver was sitting huddled with the other inmates.

Putting food on the table, Spike realized that the food he ordered was the most luxurious of all the inmates' meals. Almost all of them ordered chicken porridge with no meat.

"Hey, iron hand. I see you're indulging yourself right now. May I have your meal?" Said someone next to Spike with a body so big and had horns on his head.

"I want it too. The food you've ordered is a bit much, are you having a party here?" His right side prisoner followed Spike.

"I don't want to share my food with anyone. Get the fuck out of here!"

Regardless of Spike's orders, the prisoner picks up his food and gobbles it up quickly.

The other prisoners came along to eat the food spike gave them. Spike himself couldn't do anything against the crowd.

Even Though he wanted to hit them all, Spike was scared with those Robots around him.

Riots broke out. Spike won't have to leave that table right now.

"You bastard! I'm going to kill you one by one for eating my expensive food!" Spike temper has reach it’s limit after he saw his food already empty

When Spike tried to hit the crowd, it turned out his iron arm wasn't working properly. Instead, when he hit those men, he didn't do anything out of business like when he was in the arena.

"Ahahaha! Just look! The new kid is trying to hit us with his iron fist! Isn't he really stupid? Ahahahaha!"

A cafeteria full of inmates laughed at Spike. A strange feeling is filling Spike's heart right now. They're criminals, but something's wrong here.

Quick as he can, Silver's just trying to pull the spike out of the crowd. "What the fuck! Why did you pull me like this!"

"You've gone too far, you might think you have a lot of luck on your luck. But in this place, luck alone won't be enough."

"What the hell do you mean? I don't get it at all!"

"Listen. You'd be foolish to expect your powers to work against them here. This place is a safe zone. Violence won't mean anything here whatsoever."

Spike instantly shut up. Maybe that's why his iron arm can't hit anything. But he still doesn't understand how such a thing could happen.

"It's a good thing the guards didn't notice you. They're being idle right now. They will hear a temporary frequency vibration and will respond when it departs a certain spot of that frequency.

Silver tried to look back at the crowd apprehensively. He's kind of trying to work his way out right now.

"Come here… I'll explain it all to you…."

Right on the right wing of the cafeteria, there is an open space and quite empty space filled by no one. Silver's taking Spike to be there right now.

In the canteen, there was a very quiet table passage. Spike can't hear a dish or a spoon. Until finally the big, black figure with sunglasses embedded in his head came. The people sitting there stood up, saluting him.

"Good morning Sir! We've prepared food for you. Please enjoy!"

The man's implant glasses opened, looking at the dish on his desk.

"Same as before. I've had enough of the food in this place stinks"

The men lowered in fury to their minds.

"I have heard that the man who beat dozens of Gorlocks has been awake. No, I heard that he had come back to life. Where is he now?"

"He's in the atrium, Sir!"

"I don't want this breakfast. I, want to meet him right now"
