CHAPTER 4: DISTURBED

"And if I can get it without any form of stress?". He wanted to deal with them for treating him in such a way.

Immediately he spat out the words from his mouth, Helena and the sale lady broke out into hateful laughter, clutching to her stomach and trying as hard as she could not to roll on the floor.

"Why are you asking for the price of something that you can not afford?" Her eyes farrowed while she continued to stare at him.

"And if I can get the card, you are going to call me Daddy?"

Immediately he said this now, the laughter stopped, seeing that things were now getting even much more serious than they had thought in the first place.

They shot a stare at him and back at each other. The silence of the three of them engulfed the three of them until Helena finally decided to break the silence.

"This is one of their techniques." She tried pull his off from it but from the look that was on his face, it showed that he was not joking with it.

"And if you are not able to?" The sale lady inquired further.

"Then you become a cleaner for a year without pay. Helena

"Now he is certainly going to leave." She thought in her head.

They waited for a while for him to get off from the mall and never to return again but then, he didn't seem to want to leave.

"It seems like you want this. Isn't that so?" The sale lady frowned.

The withdrawal terminal was Just under the table and it took her a few minutes to reach out to it.

He brought out his card from his pocket and handed it to her. Seeing it, she was being a spectacle because only a few people could possess such a unique card.

"You stole it didn't you?" He heard them talking but he decided that he was going to avoid them this time.

When it was time for him to fill in the password, he filled in the correct password just as his Grandfather had told him.

But just then, the machine made a beeping sound making all their attention be focused back on it.

"Transaction failed. Wrong pin." It read.

He was a little confused as random thoughts ran through his mind because he was just way too short that he had written the correct pin.

He thought about the time that his grandfather had handed it over to him and told him that the password was his initials and at some point, he was beginning to doubt the fact about placing the correct password.

"I told you that he was nothing other than a madman in the street and the only thing that he came here for was either to steal or beg for money. That is the greatest Job that least people like you can find yourself in."

He wanted to try it out again for sure, thinking that it could be nothing but a mistake.

"I guess that I made a terrible mistake initially and I will have to check it out."

The machine was pushed over to him for him to put his password into it but it showed the same signal, just as it had done with the first one.

His heart was beating fast against his chest and he didn't know what to do since he never expected something like that to happen then.

"It's scary now but I have to get the guards to walk you off." The sales lady was about to call the security officer but then she was stopped by Helena who had a dark smile hanging on her face.

"I don't think that you should call the security officer since he is going to become a worker here too." She announced.

She was about to get closer to him when they heard a strange pattern of feet. Looking upwards he could recognize someone.

It was Mr. Blakes and h was standing with his usual air of grace.

"The acting manager is here." He could hear Helena whispering to the lady.

Walking into the mall, he saw him at the far end. His father was worried that something was going to happen to him so he was sent to check up on him and file his name into the system of the mall as the new manager while he would be the assistant.

"Young master." He with a slight bow but then, Helena and the sales Lady exchanged glances, trying hard not to laugh.

"He must have made a mistake.". Helena thought.

"Young master?" They could no longer hold the laughter.

"I think that you have got the wrong person here sir. This is nobody but Henry, the worthless fool."

Before she could finish the statement, a thick slap landed on her face making her clutch tightly to her cheeks.

"How dare you fool. What do I have to do this time?" He yelled at them

They were already shivering with fear, knowing way too well that they were going to get into some big trouble for what they had just done.

"It's all my fault, I should not have employed this set of worthless things." He noted.

"Sir please come with me. There is no need for a membership card." He noted but Henry shook his head.

Leaving there would only mean that he was avoiding paying the money.

"No, I am going to pay for it," Ha announced.

"But why isn't this working?" He could not but inquire.

"In Reverse sir." He corrected and Henry remembered hisi saying that but he was too excited to hear him properly.

Meanwhile, Helena kept on staring at Henry, thinking about how she had successfully fooled her bus.

But she was sure that the truth was going to be revealed once it didn't work again this time.

"Take that card from him you fool." He roared at them.

The sales lady grudgingly took the card from him already trembling hard with so much fear

She swamped it through the card slot and he was made to get into the pin again.

"Two hundred thousand dollars paid." The machine read.

She could not believe what she just saw and she kept on refreshing the machine which got him already pissed off.

The debit alert came soon after and he turned around towards her.

"You heard that right?" He frowned at her.

But Helena was still shocked and just couldn't get over the fact that he could pull such a large amount of money.

"Now about our bet, which one of you is going to call me daddy first?" They seemed to have forgotten about the bet that they made to him all of a sudden.

The people around were already bringing out their phones from their pockets to take a full view of the epic moment.

"But it was just a little misunderstanding and nothing more. Why does anyone have to do that?" She tried to force through a smile to lighten the air but there was not even a single trace of one on Henry's face.

"Did you make the promise or you didn't?" He inquired.

She paused for a while and was about to say something but her words broke into a stutter. She was confused

"Are you going to give me a response or just keep mopping at me?" He growled.

"Yes sir." They replied at the same time.

The first person that walked over to him was the sales Lady. She knelt before him, staring right into his eyes.

"Daddy." Her face twisted with so much embarrassment as she spat out the words from her mouth.

From the way that she said it, everyone in the hall could not help but burst out into laughter.

Now it was Helena's turn and he could see the resistance written all over her face, making him smile to himself.

"Do you want me to call the security right now?" He shot at them.

Helena pulled off from the point where she was standing and walked over to him slowly.

She fell to her knees and Daddy called.

"I didn't hear you." He frowned. "I want you to yell it so that everyone in this hall is going to hear it."

"Daddy." She yelled at the top of her voice.

"Now that is much better." He drowned.

She pulled off from her knees with her face bowed in so much disgrace but there was not a single trace of remorse in her eyes.

But Henry was not yet done with them.

"Can you do me a little favor?" He inquired turning over to the manager.

"It would be wise of you to fire them out of this company as soon as possible. They are nothing but bad eggs."

Since he was already the owner of the company, he had to carry out his orders as soon as possible.

"You heard him right, the both are relieved of your duties." He announced and their hearts sank almost immediately.

"But sir. We need this job." Helena finally pleaded with tears in her eyes as she fell on her knees but the manager didn't listen to a single word that she had to say.

"And the company needs staff that are going to respect its customers." He sneered.
