Chapter 6

The other salesgirl laughed. "How can you afford to buy fancy clothes here? Even at a street-side shop, I don't think someone like you could buy a single shirt."

"That's right. Just look at his clothes. He looks like a bum." another employee insulted.

Dustin was particularly annoyed when the salesman pinched the hem of his shirt like he was grasping dirt. "It stinks!"

"I'll buy everything in this store," Dustin replied.

Suddenly, all the servers in the store burst into laughter. From any angle, Dustin's appearance was inappropriate for entering the store. Let alone want to buy all the goods there?

"Are you kidding me? Are you a drunk lunatic? Already, get out of here. We don't serve crazy people like you!"

One of the salesmen pushed Dustin's body to leave, but Dustin persisted. "Oh, you don't want to leave here?"

"Security!" called a salesgirl.

The security at the front approached them. "What's wrong?"

The salesman pushed Dustin's body hard. "Get this lowlife out of here. It looks like he's a drunken lunatic, dreaming of buying all the clothes in this store."

"Watch your language. Even I can buy that filthy mouth of yours!" Dustin was annoyed.

They all laughed with satisfaction. "Oh, is that so? How arrogant this bum is. Prove that you can. If you buy all the clothes here, we'll bow down to you!"

Dustin raised one eyebrow. His eyes were sharp with a vengeance. Dustin could no longer hold back the anger that was already boiling to the top of his head. Dustin grinned, then pulled out the card Albert had given him earlier from his pants pocket.

Everyone who saw the card was silent. The laughter that had been booming was now just silence. The salesgirl who had insulted Dustin was trembling.

"There's no way a poor person like you could have that fancy card. You must have stolen it from a rich man in this city. Honestly, let me report you to the police."

"Besides, a fool like you wouldn't be able to use it." The blonde salesgirl near Dustin scoffed.

Dustin grinned. "If I can pay for everything using this card, then bow down at my feet."

"It's obvious from your appearance that you can't possibly have a card like that! You probably stole it" The male waiter pushed Dustin's body again.

Some of the salesgirls burst out laughing. "Never mind, just report it directly to the police. That lowly man must have stolen someone else's card."

"Yeah, we don't believe it either!" others exclaimed.

Their eyes moved to look at Dustin. This place differed from a place where a shabbily dressed person could come. Indeed the store's prestige would be damaged by Dustin's presence.

"Did you see his face earlier? It's ridiculous, and he thinks he's a prince in an instant because he has that card."

"Yeah, if he didn't steal it, it must be a fake card." Some of the salesgirls gossiped about Dustin.

"He's so arrogant. Pretending to be rich. That's so ridiculous and disgusting!"

The salesman chuckled. He circled Dustin's body while giving him a contemptuous look. "Hey, apologize now. Bow down and lick my feet before you go to jail and can't get out."

The salesgirl who had greeted him earlier looked down on Dustin. She grinned and acted as if she had won. Laughter could be heard throughout the store.

Dustin clenched his fists tightly. The look in his eyes was fierce. "You're the one who will lick my feet, and you're the one who will end up screaming for mercy under my feet."

"This rascal! He's either crazy or drunk at this time of day!" The salesgirl who heard Dustin's words became furious.

"Report him! He's an eyesore here!" said another.

Security approached Dustin. They were about to drag Dustin away, but Dustin's loud voice made them stop their footsteps.

"If you dare touch me, I will make you all suffer."

The security who was about to pull Dustin's arm fell silent. So did some of the servers there who looked terrified at Dustin's threat.

The salesgirl who first greeted Dustin was unhappy with her friends' reaction. "Hey, why do you guys look so scared? Who is this crazy guy? He can't do anything to us."

"You can tell from his appearance which he is, right? That poor, useless, lowly man can't do that!"

The salesgirl's eyes looked fierce and very condescending to Dustin.

"Ah, he's right. Why should we be afraid of him, who is a nobody?" the blonde salesgirl agreed with the salesman's words.

"Damn it. What am I scared of anyway? You're right. Security, go get him!" the female waitress ordered.

The salesman took out his cell phone from his pants pocket. "I'll call the police now."

Dustin made a serious face. "I assure you, you'll be the one in trouble."

"Oh, how confident. Here's the card. Let me check if it's just a fake card!"

Dustin dodged, causing the salesman to almost fall over after hitting a metal clothes hanger near Dustin.

"Damn it, that means your card is fake. You bastard, it turns out you came here to brag and intend to cheat us!" accused the salesman loudly. He looked around for support.

Some customers inside the shop were also annoyed and watched them with displeased glances.

"Throw him out!" ordered the salesgirl.

Security wanted to touch Dustin, and the manager's loud voice stopped them.

"What's going on?"

The store manager appeared because he heard the commotion. The incident attracted the attention of many people to crowd inside the store. Some customers left because they felt uncomfortable. The manager looked angry, seeing everyone there.

The salesgirl pointed at Dustin with a confident face. "He's the crazy guy who came to this store and said he'd buy all the clothes here!"

"He also acted arrogant and ordered us to kowtow to him if the card he held was real and could be used to buy all the items here." The salesman added.

"From his shabby appearance alone, we can all tell who he is. What a useless, lowly drunk man!" Another salesgirls chimed in and denigrated Dustin.

All the employees seemed to look for face in front of their manager. The male waiter smiled with satisfaction as everyone there agreed with his words.

"I asked him nicely to show me his card, but he avoided me and made me fall." The salesgirl was lying.

They burst out laughing because everyone knew how it happened. That made the manager look at Dustin quizzically.

"Do you believe a homeless man like this would buy everything in our store?" The salesgirl grinned. The manager remained silent while looking at the card in Dustin's hand.

Some employees from other stores also gathered around to see what was happening. "Is that guy drunk? The clothes here are expensive, and he says he wants to buy everything. What a crazy guy!"

Dustin chuckled. "Is there a store with a rule that customers can't buy everything here?"

The manager frowned. He couldn't believe Dustin's confident-sounding question about buying everything in the store.

"Look, he's so arrogant, looking like a bum. He insists on buying everything here using that fake card, sir." The salesman complained to the manager because Dustin had avoided him when he wanted to check the card.

"Can I see your card?" The manager was being professional.
