Chapter 4

"This is my first time entering a five-star hotel. I never imagined that I would become the CEO of such a luxurious hotel. In the past, I didn't even dare to think about tasting the expensive lobster and steak served here.

Now, I can eat those foods every day.

Excitement was apparent on Henry's face as he relished the thought of being the owner of this five-star hotel.

He was up all night thinking about his plans for the future.

When he finally arrived at the A.G.N Hotel, Henry noticed the welcome party outside the building. It piqued his interest.

He approached the gate of the hotel and saw a large sign on the wall. The hotel was closed for the time being, according to the notice.

Henry was completely disregarded by the rest of the crowd. They assumed he was just a bystander.

The only one that noticed him was Sofia, who was standing in front of the crowd. With a frown, she whispered to Donald, "Donald, Henry has come back."

After turning around, Donald recognized Henry. With a sinister expression, he scowled at him. "I told you never to bother Sofia anymore. What are you doing here?"

Because of what had transpired the day before, Henry was enraged when he saw these two individuals. His enthusiastic mood soured terribly.

In a cold voice, Henry replied, "What an arrogant man you are! I just hope you can still enjoy drinking wine later."

Furious, Donald approached Henry upon hearing the latter's words.

With an angry gaze, he grabbed Henry's collar and threatened him, "Now is a good time for you to have a clear picture of the situation. You cannot afford to offend our guest. I don't want to dispute with you now. Nonetheless, I will deal with you after this."

However, Henry shoved Donald's hand away from him. He no longer needed to be terrified of anybody, since he was the Anderson Group's heir.

"Henry, it's time to call it quits. I know you don't want to end our relationship, but I have to tell you that I don't like you," Sofia said in an irate voice.

When Henry heard her words, a serious expression painted his face. He raised his head and stared at Sofia.

This lady was still lovely, but in his eyes, she was a stranger now.

Henry recognized the apparent disdain and arrogance in her eyes. A chuckle escaped his lips. "How dare you assume that I came here for you? Silly woman, you overestimate yourself."

"Henry, what are you saying?" Sofia asked in a vexed voice as she furrowed her eyebrows.

When Henry saw how much she had changed, he couldn't help but sigh in disappointment. Her beauty had blinded him to the truth, and he wished he hadn't succumbed to temptation.

Henry let out a sigh and turned his back on her. He yelled to the crowd, "Tell your general manager to come out. I'm looking for him."

The folks surrounding Henry didn't seem to care about him at all. Instead, they dismissed him as a delusional idiot.

Donald burst into laughter. "How dare you ask for the general manager? Do you think he will waste time on someone like you? Are you going to leave this place by yourself, or should I ask the guards to beat you up and throw you in the garbage bin?"

However, Henry remained unfazed. With a dignified pose, he made a giant stride forward. It forced Donald to take a step back.

"You're the vice general manager, right? Where do you get the audacity to treat the new president like this?" Despite his calm voice, Henry radiated an air of silent authority. His eyes reflected a cool radiant light.

"How dare you pretend to be our new president? There will be a new president for this place, and he will be arriving shortly. If it weren't for this, I wouldn't be here trying to convince you to go away. Leave this place now", Donald told Henry with derision.

With a grin, Sofia hid her face with her hand. Since she was familiar with Henry's family, she assumed that she would know if he was the new president.

"Actually, I am the new president. The one who should go away is not me but you," Henry said in a proud voice as he pointed at Donald's nose.

"You're a lunatic. Guards, take this man away from here. Put him in the garbage bin! It's the only thing that will make him stop being delusional" Donald shouted impatiently.

Soon enough, a large group of imposing security personnel quickly encircled Henry.

Suddenly, a car horn echoed from nearby. The crowd turned their heads. Everyone's eyes fixated on the vehicle since it was very familiar to them.

"That's Noah car. He's back after picking up the new president himself."

"You lying idiot. The real president has just arrived. Leave now!" A chuckle escaped Donald's breath. "Everyone, look presentable. Smile as we welcome our new president."

Meanwhile, Noah was driving so fast that he almost hit the security guards, who were terrified of getting hit.

In a flash, the vehicle parked right in front of Henry. Without hesitation, Noah pushed open the car door.

Noah hurriedly exited the vehicle. His tie was unkempt, and he didn't even bother to clean up his outfit. He was clearly in a rush to get out of the car.

He slammed the door shut. It surprised everyone, since he was very careful about his car. It was the first time that he treated it so roughly.

The other employees expected Noah to throw Henry into the road for causing a disturbance at their welcome party.

To everyone's surprise, Noah suddenly took the wine and the glass Donald was holding.

With trembling hands, he poured a glass of red wine and gave it to Henry.

However, Henry ignored the glass and instead gave Noah a cold stare.

Despite his large figure, Noah gave Henry a deep bow. There was a smile on his lips and sweat dripped down his face. In a sincere voice, he said, "P-pleasure to meet you, Mr. Anderson. Allow me to propose a toast to you. Please forgive me for making you wait for so long."

Immediately, everyone outside the hotel was taken aback by what they had witnessed. They wanted to say something, but they were too surprised that their words failed to escape their gaping mouths.
