"Busted." She said to him."Busted? What are you talking about?" He asked her pretending not to know in strong hopes that she would not catch onto him."Come on, I know you have been following me, Kevin. Although I cannot say where for certain had it started." She said.Kevin was relieved but he still was not going to admit to that."Actually no. I was really hungry and was wondering what lunch at the place across would taste like." He said. He had been really lucky that it was indeed a restaurant at the opposite place and he had been facing in that direction."So, you weren't following me?" She asked looking grim as her high expectancies for herself seemed to have been severed right now."I don't know, you tell me?" Kevin asked with a smile. He had noted her sudden change in emotions and decided to play it cool with her as he could not let her slip off his fingers. He did not have much time now as he needed to get this task over and done with."So you did not realize I was walking in
Kevin had gone home straight up after he had left her place and only when he had gotten home did he realize that he had still not gotten his jacket from her. He started contemplating on whether to return to her and ask for his jacket but he was aware of the pensive situation between them and the fact that should he attempt to get back there with her, he was going to face off hell with her or be tempted to finish what he had started with her. He could not tell whether he would have enough strength to restrain himself this time around.Hence, he remained home and really uncomfortable as he needed to hear from the system that his task was completed successfully and then he would decide on what to do. He worried a great deal about her and the fact that he had left her in such a mood gave him a lot to think of. She must really hate him now and see him as a player but then, looking on the bright side of things, she had been no different. She was worse with her manipulative behavior and sob
He had gone to sleep downcast and disappointed. He could not believe that all his efforts had been to waste and that he probably had been pranked by the system. I mean, how could he still look the very same despite chosing to look good looking. Kevin was on the verge of losing it when he decided to get to bed. It was alarming how the system he ha come to trust had pulled a fast one on him after making him go through the hoops to win this particular challenge. It had been tough. Now, he was just going to be the sad guy who had a couple of dollars sitting in his bank account that would finish soon enough and whom had lost chances to be with two of the best women he had ever come across. Angrily, he turned the mirror backwards and went to bed.Early the next morning, he woke up to get ready for school as there was no point in missing out when he was still the same person he was. He took his bath and got ready as he stepped out of the house. As he came out, he caught glances being thrown
As she walked away, the guys were making hooting calls and whistling while Kevin stared at the jacket in his meal. Their noise, certainly not what the other persons in the restaurant were having."Gentlemen, I'm gonna ask that you lot keep it down." A waiter had approached them with a stern look on her face."Now I used to think Barry, that people should be happy when eating?" Allen pretended to ask."So I thought too." Barry responded as he picked up a piece of chip from his plate and threw it at Kevin forcing him to snap out of it."Ain't no one saying you shouldn't be happy, just don't disturb others while at it." The waiter said.Seeming to have noticed the waiter now, Kevin spoke to him."We're really sorry about the noise. We'd keep it down now." Kevin said. The waiter nodded and then spoke to him again as he stared at his suit covered meal."Would you be needing another plate of that?" He asked Kevin."Would he pay for a second plate?" Allen asked with s sneaky grin on his face
As he walked down the street, Kevin thought to himself about the party and decided that now he was a cool guy, he really needed to turn up a little notch. He walked in the way of really good stores until he found one which his mind accepted and got inside. "Hello, sir. What shall we be aiding you with?" An attendant said to him."Actually, I'm in need of your expertise and direction." Kevin said to him."That is why we are here." The attendant said to him.He could see the eyes of the ladies on him but he was focused on his goal."There's the party tonight, a little student thing but I would be needing something simple yet effortlessly classy for the occasion." He said."Did they stipulate a dress code?" The attendant asked smiling.Dang it!!! Kevin realized he had not asked but decided to play it cool with hopes he was not wrong."Not really." He said."Great. So what are your usual favorite?" The attendant asked."I'm usually a vintage shirt over corporates or jeans." Kevin said lo
The ironical feeling of nostalgia he got right this moment could meet no bounds. All this while, he had been thinking that there would be nothing done to Vanessa although he secretly wished he could pay her back in her own coins which she used against him. The irony of life is really so unprecedented and right now, that was the same thing with Vanessa. To think that she had let him be filmed and disgraced via social media that had led him to this point. And now, the very same social media was bound to be her very own undoing. He faced her with a wicked glee in his eyes bearing clearly, the mark of the playboy which he was. He held his glass in his hand classically as she observed him. He could tell that she was rather stunned and was trying hard to keep her act together."You look..." She could not find words to finish.Words right now could not compare with his transformation into this near majestical person she was seeing. Obviously, Vanessa was beginning to count her losses. Words
The blaring music and then he sat on the couch as he observed the party. There were girls seated at each side of him and he could see them struggling for who would get his attention. However, Kevin's gaze had not left his target and neither had she failed to turn around from time to time to stare at him.Vanessa; she was already acting all weird and funny. She could see him with the other ladies and clearly she felt really jealous. Mickey, had come to her again and whispered into her ears as she gave him her hand before he took her to dance with her. But as she looked behind his shoulders, she was lost in the whirlpool of thoughts. She could not stop looking at Kevin who stared intensely at her."Let's go dance, Kevin." One of the girls cooed into his ears."I'm sorry, I'm not a good dancer. In fact, I don't dance at all but I would love to watch you dance." He said to her."I could give you a lap dance, you know?" The other girl at his side suggested."I suggested that we dance first
It had been such an amazing party and then it was time to leave. Kevin did not want to overstay. He knew the guys were still on with the whole partying stuff but certainly not him. He needed to get home. Kevin stood up suddenly."Going for more drinks?" Allen asked him suddenly."No. I really think I should be going home right now." Kevin said.Allen sat upright and signaled the girl on his lap to excuse them."Seriously, Kev? You really should stay. We've yet to get to the highlight of the whole stuff, you know?" Allen said to him.Kevin smiled."I know but I got something important to attend to at home." Kevin lied."The party ain't important?" Allen asked him without smiling.Kevin was worried that he just might have provoked the bullies leader and would lose the protection they offered him. He quickly jumped in with a near apologetic explanation."Of course not. The party is awesome. I just really need to be home. That's all, but if you want me to stay, I could..." He began sputte
