Sid Nivrone stared at his father, the man was deadly quiet.

It was exactly one hour and forty-eight minutes after the clash between Samantha and Silas, with Samantha escaping with a few tears on her clothes and gashes on her skin, not badly hurt in Sid’s opinion.

While she was hurt, his father didn't have a scratch on his body or even dust on his clothes.

Sid's staring was because Silas wasn't lashing out, it was true that he wasn't one to scream like a banshee when he was angry.

Sid had never encountered him in such a state, however the matter at hand was of someone trying to destroy his plans. The one he lived for.

Even Sid had a difficult time guessing what his father was thinking.

The hour had gone by with repairs being done to the walls of the house and the cleaning team dusting ash off of Silas's treasure trove.

Sid glanced at his watch for the second time in that night.

It said it's been ten minutes since the cleaning team left.

Vatican Sol stood up to make a call, reducin

Alice had noticed someone following her since she got to the outskirt of the city. She wasn't wary, because she knew who it was. She simply led them to where she was going. Alice smiled, adjusting her bag. Gullible child, she thought. ‘She must really think I don't know she's following me.’ With that thought, Alice increased her pace and walked towards the cabin. * Stuck inside the house for days did nothing to Eren. It didn't make him wary or anxious. It gave him a sense of direction. They might not have had a plan but Eren wasn't shaken by the fact. Instead, he used the opportunity to get stronger, meditating and training. He knew something huge was coming, he could sense it. “Phew!” He huffed, hitting the dummy continuously with precise and calculated strikes. Eren drew out a long breath and exhaled in short puffs as he landed a blow beneath the dummy's head, around its jugular vein. The dummy flew out of position and hit the wall. Eren smirked. Eren found himself planning with Samantha, Gaine, Drake, Kathlyn and Alice on how to steal back the Helm of Tyrants from Silas. The planning went smoothly, Eren's knowledge of Silas's house and Samantha's knowledge about Silas's plans was what they put together to create a reliable strategy on how to get the Helm of Tyrants back.“We need to get the Helm back as soon as possible. I feel like I'm gonna die of anxiety the more it's out there. Especially with a deranged monster. “ Gaine said, while facing the group at the table. His blue eyes twinkled with worry.“Not just any deranged monster, Gaine,” Kathlyn said, raising her lean first finger up as she returned to her seat with mugs of hot coffee and hot chocolate for herself. Eren eyed her, amused that she was not a black coffee girl.“A very deranged and powerful Awakened monster.” She folded her fist and hit the table as she finished, the mugs jerked and the liquid sloshed with the cup,

He had just barked orders to his subordinates, telling them what to do concerning the security of the Academy. The security personnel all shouted, “Yes sir!" Before heading to their posts and their duties.Another exhale came before William turned inside to head to the top floor of the Titan, using the steps because the elevator was still under repair from the attack and according to the supervisor of the repair team, it would take another forty-eight hours. The unnecessary exercise added to his mental stress and did nothing to his physical strength. He simply huffed and entered the executive passageway that led to his father's office, which was now his. It was the first place to be repaired because questions may arise if he left the gaping hole in the wall open.It was a sore sight to see, and visitors and his father's business partners would not have missed that. After closing the door of the office, he

Kathlyn argued, following Samantha with her eyes until she sat, still trying to prove her point.“Breaking in by melting his security box with fire? Really Kathlyn?" Gaine said in disbelief, his eyes saying I thought you're supposed to be smarter than Drake.Kathlyn hissed at him and went back to facing Samantha. Samantha gave her a no face and tried to explain her rejection.“The security boxes have sensors.” Eren said absentmindedly, taking the chance from Samantha. His eyes focused on the table. When Samantha noticed that he wasn't ready to continue his explanation, she did, "Yes, Silas spoke about it once. The sensors in the security boxes are designed with a face and gait recognition program.” Samantha looked around the room at her friend's faces. “Silas will know we are there the minute we are sixty steps away from the box. But all that mattered at the moment was the clash of MANNA between the two powerful Awakened facing each other. Gaine stood tall, his green eyes locked on Sid, blue MANNA flickering around his swords like a living flame. Sid’s green eyes gleamed under the moonlight, and he gripped his blades, green MANNA seeping into the air around him, making the ground beneath him crackle. Sparks of blue and jade MANNA flew, lighting up the night as their swords collided. The force of Sid’s attack pushed Gaine back a step, but he quickly recovered, his eyes narrowing with f

    The Fall Of Silas Homer

Zachary raised his head and was face to face with Silas. He desperately struggled to keep his breath going. He had held on for more than five minutes, waiting for nothing. He just wanted to keep Silas Homer busy so he would not pursue Eren. Eren stood around thirty steps away, transfixed. Zachary understood that he needed more time and was willing to help him obtain it. Zachary had two things that made him determined. The first one was that nothing would happen to his son for as long as he was conscious on the battlefield, and the second was that he wouldn't die until he explained the actual situation to his son.“You think you're all it?" Zachary asked, a disgusted look on his face. Silas's eyes widened like a madman's, obviously not accepting of what Zachary said. “I'm better than a weakling like you!" He shouted. “The world does not need weaklings. You all do nothing more than infest the world with your weakness. It's sickening.”Zachary rasped and chuckled, his face amused.

A dark cloud covered the sun and enveloped the area in the seminar hall, making it look like the evening. On the night before the summit, the Academy held its breath in dread and anxiety. Despite the preparations that had been made, the question of the uncertainty of what could happen still lingered in the air.The Helm of Tyrants was the most feared trinket in the Academy, so it was kept safe in the Academy Head’s office, the safest place on the Academy grounds, second only to the Academy vault. The uncertainty of the next day kept William in the middle of his office by 8 p.m., pacing a hole in the ground.William walked to the northern end of his office, where the transparent glass wall was, and looked out of the window; the north side of the Academy was completely open to him. Thoughts of what could happen the next day filled his mind. He thought of thousands of scenarios in which they won and a million in which they lost. Drake sat opposite the large window in his Academy dorm room, his hands intertwined behind his head as he rocked the wooden dorm chair. Sighing for the fourth time in a minute, he brushed one hand through his hair, the dirty blonde shining a hue of gold as the morning sun streamed into his room when the clouds cleared off it.“Ugh," He groaned, his hands sliding down his face, muffling his voice. This is sweet hell, he thought and stood up abruptly, causing the chair to tip back and almost fall. Drake swiftly held it back and positioned it to face his desk, the chair frame now facing away from the window.Drake stood up to check the window.
