“Stop!” Rica stepped in, grabbed Gabe by wrist and forcibly pulled his arm behind his back and then dragged him to the side. “What the hell are you doing? This time, the task was only to defeat and not kill the opponent. What’s gotten into you?”

Gabe was gasping. He was bleeding from the mouth as it was an intense battle he just had. “That bastard scolded my mom. He deserves more beating.”

“You can’t act like this. If people see you losing cool just because someone scolded your mom, then your opponents will use that to target you,” Rica said in a low voice. “You won 48 times with this. If you win two more times… you’ll cross the 1,000,000 rank and receive your golden badge. You don’t want to get the penalty by breaking the rules.”

“I’ll keep that in mind.”

Rica then raised Gabe’s arm into the air. “The winner is Gangsta!”

The crowd had been erupting all this while, most of them rooting for Gabe.
