CHAPTER 205

It was night, and Bianca’s men huddled in shadows by the secluded road leading to the dump site.

The air was heavy with tension as they rotated shifts, always keeping an eye on the gravel road, which was their only way of exposing Darius.

They had been there for weeks, patiently waiting and planning.

They had stationed themselves strategically behind trees and parked rusted-out trucks long abandoned on the road’s edge.

Armed with cameras and flashlights, they were ready to capture any evidence that could bring Darius to his knees.

One night, around 2 a.m., the stillness of the forest was shattered by the distant rumbling of an engine.

The men on duty immediately alerted themselves as the headlights grew brighter while the truck rolled down the road toward the dump site.

“Truck incoming,” one of the men whispered urgently into the radio. “Looks like they’re heading toward the site. Over.”

Another voice crackled back, laced with excitement and anticipation. “Keep your position. Over.”
