Victoria, her pride shattered and her composure gone, clung to Nathan's legs, her fingers digging into the fabric of his expensive trousers.

Her once-commanding presence had been reduced to that of a desperate, broken woman.

Her eyes were pleading as they locked onto Nathan’s.

“Please, Nathan, I’m begging you,” she cried, her voice hoarse with emotion. “This is all a misunderstanding!

"I never meant for any of this to happen. I swear, I didn’t hire those men! Please, don’t let them take me away!”

Nathan’s gaze was unrelenting. “It’s too late for your pleas, Victoria."

"The evidence is clear, and the police are here to enforce that you pay for your crimes!” He glanced at the lead officer, who nodded in understanding.

Claire, stood helplessly nearby, her face pale and her eyes filled with tears. She reached out to Nathan, her voice trembling. “Nathan, please, think of my mother’s legacy, our family’s reputation."

" She’s made mistakes, but she’s not a killer."
