Chapter 123

Sarah spotted her cousin, Jasmine, from the doorway. FELINE was the only classy place within a mile range of Brooklyn. She knew Jasmine would be doing business there.

As soon as she had gotten her call that afternoon, she jumped out of bed and hurriedly put her clothes on. She had been taking a power nap while pondering on the disaster that was her life.

The double glass doors bombed each other as she walked into the boutique.

"Sarah!" Jasmine chirped happily, waving at Sarah from one of the sections. Sarah walked up to her wearing a very exhausted expression which was far from that of a person who had just gotten out of bed.

"You don't look like you just had a day's sleep." Jasmine's pretty light-pitched voice belled out.

"And you look like you just stepped out of vogue." Sarah admired the red, taffeta dress her cousin wore. The young girl who stood beside her took pictures.
