The old cathedral loomed before them, its towering spires piercing the sky, shrouded in mist and mystery. The building was a relic of a time long past, its once-grand architecture now worn and weathered. Vines crept up its stone walls, and stained glass windows, dulled by centuries of neglect, reflected only faint glimmers of the rising sun.

Victor, Lucian, and Selene stood at the entrance, the weight of their mission pressing down on them. The air was thick with anticipation, every sound amplified in the silence of the early morning.
