Gabriel remained silent, his expression unreadable as he listened to the General Manager's plea.

Sensing something from his awkward silence, the general manager pressed further with a succumbing tone, “I was greatly wrong for my misconduct earlier. I was just a bit insane at that moment. I regret my actions and would like to rectify what I've done in the most suitable and best way for you if you don't mind. Please, just grant my request.” He clasped his hands before Gabriel.

Gabriel knew what the older man was insinuating, but he refused to acknowledge it directly. “I have no idea what you're saying."

The General Manager stared at him in awe, taken aback by his denial.

“If this is what you brought me here to discuss then consider it a woeful failure because I don't know anything,” Gabriel added, shrugging his shoulders in disregard.
