Clark laid on his bed in his bedroom, asleep and a deep furrow appeared on his forehead while he slept.
He was indeed having a dreadful nightmare of the exact memories that Storm Bender had shared with him. He stood and watched how everything played out like a movie. He observed that he was indeed in another world and he felt giddy. "Dad!" He saw himself in the dream in his supernatural form, like his siblings, only that he had the abilities of a dragon, as he gazed at how he transformed back from dragon to human after he had immediately fluttered his large wings. He was appalled and used his hands to stifle a shriek to control himself from clamouring to be heard in his dream about the past that happened. "Dad!" His dream version of himself yelled facing an average-sized man who was like him in his supernatural form. "Son, you have to lead the rest of the Shadow masters. I can try and shut the two shadow worlds and stop your mom and the rest beings," His Dad retorted, holding two huge lightning bolts that somehow seemed heavy and held two large portals that appeared fickle at the moment. He saw that his Dad had a kind of lightning abilities like Storm Bender, only that his own was controlled by a short, curved boomeranged, well-designed blade. "Storm Bender!" His dream state yipped at the top of his voice and Storm Bender and the rest Shadow masters moved hurriedly with their supernatural speed towards him. He was seeing a silhouette of them, just like it was shown as a memory. Before he knew it, he saw himself emitting a beam of dragon fire around and all of a sudden, all he could see was a blackout and then he woke up from his dreadful sleep, cringing in fear. He finally woke up with muffled sounds, feeling dishevelled and somewhat Inclined to bristle about his surroundings. He heard some noise that made him more bristled and he waggled towards the exit of his house, scrutinizing everywhere he moved. He finally got outside and saw that it was daybreak and the area was quiet as usual, so he felt very audacious to be out especially after what had occurred the previous night. "Who is out there?" He bristled at the situation, holding the broom he held the other night. He finally saw the horrendous creature he saw the other night and he gritted his teeth firmly as his entire body trembled with rage and frustration. The creature growled at him, and as it attempted to leapt to tear him into pieces, it turned to a stature instantly. Clark took a blank look and saw that another figure stood beside the beast and simply held it at the back, turning it into a statue. "Behind you!" Clark yelled as he cast a look at another creature that wanted to pounce at this being for saving his life. The being was very fast and this other being that saved Clark's life punched it easily with his supernatural strength sending it crashing down to the ground. He then turned to touch it with his hands, turning it into a statue and then he punched it to pieces with his supernatural strength. "No need to be afraid Dragon Master. I am Benovio," Benovio announced as he introduced himself with a huge smile on his face. "And what do you want from me?" Clark was jolted as he weighed Benovio up and down. He knew that he was like the supernatural beings that claimed to be his siblings. "Come on, I just saved your life from that beast and the least I should be hearing is a thank you," Benovio massaged his temples feeling a bit flustered at Clark's first reaction to saving his life. "You are one of them, aren't you? The same supernatural beings that came the other night to save my life," Clark crossed his arms over his shoulders and stroked his chin with his tone laced with coldness. "Ooh! I see that you have come across them. Well, you have to understand that they lied to you. You have to note that everything they said was all inerrant except the fact that they are your family because whatever memories they must have shared are fake," Benovio rumbled. Clark was more hoodwinked. He didn't have any idea if it was Benovio who was trying to confuse him or if it was Storm Bender and Frozen Claws. "Enough! You need to leave, please leave," Clark roared in distress. "It's okay, but just ponder about all that I have said and know your true friends," Benovio said with a broad smile on his lips before he vanished through a supernatural portal... "Yes indeed we saw him," Frozen Claws replied and Vivian's face beamed with joy as she entered fully into the lounge room of the flashy mansion. She knew that she had joined the search with the rest of the top royals to find the Dragon master once and for all. "So what's the lollygagging about? We have to get to him because the humans are getting more minimal by the second. In a manner of time, they would be reduced to absolutely nothing," Vivian stiffened. "Yes, that's true, except that Frozen Claws had to intercept my plans to restore all his memories," Storm Bender huffed. "What happened, Frozen claws? I thought the plan was to make him recover all his memories once and for all so that we could all join forces and end this war," Vivian clinked her high heels impatiently. "Come on, he wasn't ready yet. He was feeling that he was being hoodwinked and we don't take orders from you, remember? We are the top royals, while you are a part of the royals, so..." "I'm just joking and serious at the same time, so no need to get mad, but we have to find him and you have to introduce me to him. We need to find a way to restore his memories since there is no more time," Vivian interrupted and they all rose. "Alright, that's better. I guess we better start going," Frozen Claws declared, getting ready to leave. "Wait a minute, are you sure about the fact you are ready to see him? Do you think it's going to work this time?" Frozen Claws paused for a minute facing Vivian. Vivian pondered about the tenable words of Frozen Claws for a second before replying. "Well... I mean it should work. It did work in 1989, when he saw me, he remembered all our memories, so he should remember this time," Vivian replied with a stern expression. "Alright then, if you say so," Frozen Claws said as they all started to exit the mansion. Storm Bender stroked his chin and reached forward for his hammer, fiddled it a bit and then followed them. They got outside and saw how the humans had been whittled from the city and it motivated them in their mission to recover Dragon Master's memories... Benovio walked briskly to the lounge room with a full expression of contempt. "Tell me he is dead," Circe shot up from where she sat next to Sacorah and began clinking her high heels impatiently. "Not yet, but the shadow beasts I sent are all dead," Benovio replied lamely. "Are you saying he has finally recovered his memories and knows how to tap into his powers," Sacorah shot up swiftly from where he sat, with the thoughts of the last statement of Benovio bubbling tempestuously in his heart. "Not yet! You Looney-tuned asshole!. That couldn't have happened yet, they are all dead because I killed them after I turned them into statues," Benovio explained irritably. "Hmm... Okay, so you went against your plan? That's what you are trying to say?" Circe croaked out in rage. "Calm down sister. The plan was to win him over. We have to be smart about it and then we would end him in a stylish exhilarating way," Benovio replied with a sly grin on his face and a sinister glint flashing through his eyes. He observed how Circe's incredulous expression mirrored his disbelief at the audacious words that had just escaped his lips. "I think you have a death wish," Circe scowled at him. "Big brother, sister is right," Sacorah cut in. "Come on, you would always take her side," Benovio croaked out. "No brother, just see it this way, it's going to be risky and what if we lose?" Sacorah questioned in a caveating manner, with a stern expression on his face. "No way!" Benovio blurted out. "So far so good, the finitude of the humans has been gradually irrefutable. I mean just take a look at the mayor and the rest inhabitants that ran away from the city, coupled with those we have killed. We are going to win this," Benovio assured effusively. "Hmm... You are so confident about this right?" Circe said showing scepticism. "Of course, don't forget the principal goal which is to ensure that we do the bidding of the evil shadow beings so that they can be released at the end of it all since the scores are still even," Benovio said haltingly ensuring that he remained effusive about his words. "Of course brother, we know that we have to take revenge on the royals for what they did to us, and make them pay by siding with the shadow monsters," Circe said with indifference. "Of course, I can't wait since we are almost at the brink of victory, and when the others join us, we will have more reasons to celebrate victory," Sacorah announced. "Well, you both have said well. In time, I would have to work out my plans to hoodwink Dragon Master towards his destruction," Benovio replied. "Alright brother," Circe and Sacorah replied in unison... Clark moved around the porch of his house feeling uneasy, until he cast a gaze at the thrumming of the energy of something that appeared to be the same supernatural portal that the beings would call themselves his siblings used the other day. The light of the energy squinted his eyes and he had to block it with his hands because he was directly casting a gaze at it. He saw the silhouette of not just the two of his so-called siblings but also another third one, in a kind of purple outfit and he shuddered. He was appalled and wasn't sure if it was another of his siblings to be introduced or someone else...They waggled towards Clark's side and he gave them heated stares as they came towards him. He suddenly appeared viscerally revolting because he remembered that he had warned them in the past not to see him anymore. "What the hell do you want from me!" He simmered with anger as they finally stood aloof from him. "We want no conflict big brother. We are simply here to explain things to you and introduce you to someone new," Frozen Claws announced bringing forward Vivian. A heavy smile emitted from Vivian's lips as she waggled closer to Clark. Clark was fascinated by her beauty and stood like a dumb landpost for a while, enthralled by her beauty. "Shadow Master, it's you, after all these years," Vivian enthused. "You know who I am?" Clark's brows creased in curiosity with a blank look. "Of course, I do, Shadow master. You are indeed a legend," Vivian retorted. Clark looked more hoodwinked than before. He knew that his past seemed to be more bewildering. "What the hell! Then who
"Jeez! Your place looks too grungy!" Joshua croaked out as he scrutinized Clark's house which looked too scruffy. "Yeah, I haven't cleaned it today. But that's not the main point. We are talking about Dahlia, the lady I told you I met today," Clark protested as they both sat down opposite each other on the armchair in his sitting room. "Ooh, and so what's wrong? You said she was pretty, so what's the problem," Joshua replied indifferently. "No, am talking about the fact that I am going to try and convince her to leave the city since she just arrived with her mom," Clark clenched his teeth. "What! No way! What's wrong with the city!" Joshua protested gritting his teeth. "Monsters and other supernatural creatures. They all exist, and I have encountered them," Clark said as he cupped his palm effusively. "That's not true. You need to learn to filter rumours. I mean it could be a new species of animals and that's what everyone is calling monsters. Thank goodness I came to investigate
"Wow, that's progress. That's exactly what happened big brother, you saved us all," Frozen Claws shot an amicable piercing gaze at Clark that made him feel more assured of his safety with them. "Yes, basically, after dying we were supposed to reincarnate, but you use your dragon aura to reincarnate us all to the future and we are still waiting for the reincarnation of our rest two siblings, Biggie and Crimson Arrow," Storm Bender fluttered his eyes lashes as he explained. "So literally we were from the past and now we came to live in the future which is the present now, but that's not relevant because when we reincarnated into this time, our present selves haven't reincarnated yet, so we can substitute for our present self through the means of reincarnation," Vivian explained when she noticed that Dragon Master was already looking lost. "We all owe it to Dad to be victorious because he had to sacrifice himself when he shut the worlds thereby capturing many shadow beasts he could all
The supernatural portal opened at the flashy mansion, and Benovio and his siblings appeared still amused about the event. "Everything you uttered to us about Dragon Master was all fibberies, hogwash and nosy ponies," Circe croaked out, casting a heated stare at Benovio who appeared to look contritely in his expression. "Well... I thought that was the case," Benovio stuttered. "Hey big sis, don't talk to a big brother like that," Sarah blurted out indignantly. Circe shot heated stares at Sacorah because of his show of indignation but was then reminded of the tenable audacity she had shown to Benovio in his presence and resolved. "Enough of this right now, we don't have time to fight amongst ourselves but to ponder a way to deal with this matter," Benovio retorted. "If Dragon master has his dragon aura even without transforming into a dragon, it means he has remembered half of his memories," Benovio mused. "That's inerrant," Sacorah announced in a musing manner. "It simply means
500 Years Ago Omaha City Dragon Master waltzed away from the presence of Frozen Claws as he watched her scoff and felt irksome about it. "Come on big brother, she is going to be here any minute. You can't keep on denying your feelings about Vivian. I mean she is also a royal, even though not a top royal, since her mother is also one," Frozen Claws teased. "I mean, even though Storm Bender, Biggie and Crimson Arrow aren't present at the moment because of their shadow duty, I can load them with news about what happens after," Frozen Claws giggled. "Well, what do I say to her?" Dragon Master massaged his temples and whacked off his mind. "Just be intentional about it and let it be genuine, remember you called for her," Frozen Claws retorted. "She has arrived," Frozen Claws announced as Vivian waggled into the entrance of their family mansion. "Just do better than hiding your feelings," Frozen Claws gave Dragon Master a nudge before she went to hug Vivian and then exited the mansio
"Come on what's wrong with whatever happened?" Joshua giggled callously and Clark's ears pricked back, as his eyes popped open in astonishment. Joshua gurgled with delight and it nauseated Clark who found it to be a grotesque act and felt Joshua was acting fortuitously. "The shadow beasts!" Clark's voice cracked as he spoke. He felt everything that every single appalling word that came out from Joshua was a sick twisted joke. His heart has fallen to a sudden state of despair as he calculates how he is going to convince Joshua to change his point of view. "Ooh you mean those Nordic beings? They are supernatural beings. Of course that has been confirmed but one thing is for sure, there are no shadow beasts in existence," Joshua fluttered his eyelashes. "What the hell! Nordic beings. But when they appeared, you couldn't control the spasming fear in your body," Clark huffed. "Yes, of course, that's simply because I was meeting them for the first time. Right now, that's not the case,
Clark's heart thudded in his chest as he strode towards Dahlia's house. Even though he wasn't sure about her house, he felt he could easily locate either her house or Dahlia herself on the way, because of the way the city had been whittled of people. He recalled the story that Joshua told him about the mayor evading the city alongside some people. He stroked his chin as he reminisced about it, wondering how it wasn't enough to convince Joshua to leave the city. Three Years Ago Mayor Orson Esher stood at the podium at the city hall to deliver his presumed last speech before resigning. His heart thudded dangerously against his rib cage as damp sweat trickled down his skin. He had an encounter with the shadow beasts recently and was lucky to escape so he was callous to the fact that he might use some opprobrious language to express his speech. Finally, a tug of reprieve etched succinctly in his heart because he knew what he wanted to announce was very pleasing. "Please I urge you
Clark woke up flustered. Memories of what happened in the wee hours flashed through his mind and his stomach flipped. His chest tightened as he wanted to brawl his eyes out. He gazed at Dahlia who was fast asleep beside him. Elizabeth waggled into their room with her lips curling up into a smile. She didn't know that they were more than friends and felt delighted about it. "Sorry, it's not actually what you think it is," Clark stuttered facing Elizabeth who brought in a meal of lamb fries. "Hey Mom," Dahlia yawned groggily and checked the time to see it was already morning. Clark had been there all night and she couldn't help but flash a perfect smile. "Yes daughter, just enjoy yourself and don't let me interrupt," Elizabeth giggled as she dropped the plate of lamb fries and waggled out of their room. "I guess you are my new prince charming boyfriend," Dahlia's lips stuck out playfully as she chuckled gleefully while Clark shook his head while clicking his tongue in repugnance.
