A PLACE OF PAIN

The boy pulled away from Alex's embrace and wiped his face blushing in shame.

“Sorry for that, I shouldn't have done it. I don't know what came over me.”

Alex patted his cheeks and forced a smile, hiding his treacherous and turbulent thoughts.

The boy suddenly frowned, noticing that Alex have been looking at him in a scrutinizing way that made him uncomfortable.

“What's wrong?” He asked, narrowing his eyes.

“What do you mean?” Alex asked, straightening his posture.

“You have been staring at me for a very long time, is there something on my face?” He asked again, frowning at Alex.

“it's nothing, I just thought that you looked really handsome.” Alex said, muddling his way through the conversation.

The boy's frown deepened as he stared at Alex with a confused expression on his face. He suddenly gasped and covered his chest with his hands.

“It can't be that you're one of those uncles, right?” He questioned, looking horrified.
