WAVES OF FURY

Alex walked into Eleanor's room, still feeling bitter. All his plans for the night, which were meticulously laid down for days, have been ruined all because of Eleanor's stubbornness, and insistence on showing her hatred for him.

However, he couldn't find it in himself to get angry at her, or resent her.

There was only regret, pity, and heartache; he couldn't help but feel apologetic towards her. The wounds on her body were like goblins, gnawing at his heart and conscience, causing him immense discomfort.

“Bring me a bowl of hot water.” Alex whispered, turning to Tajana who had removed his mask.

Tajana nodded obediently and turned aside, going to do his bidding.

In three minutes, he returned with a steaming bowl of hot water and a towel.

Alex turned to look at him, momentarily distracted from what he was doing.

He had been laying out a new set of clothes for Eleanor, which he found in her walk in closet.
