The Mind Reader

“The same number is calling again,” Sam's eyes widened as he stared at his phone screen.

Emily was too shocked to speak, she froze; gazing at Sam, stunned at what he just said.

Sam slowly picked up the call, and placed it on speaker; so Emily would be able to hear the conversations between him and the kidnapper.

“Hello, Mr. Sam, I’ve something to tell you. You might want to take drastic measures in protecting your fiancée, Emily Rosenberg, but it doesn’t mean if we wanted her, we wouldn’t get her. It’s just a word of advice not a threat,”

The caller hung up immediately after speaking without giving Sam a chance to say anything.
