'Just like a role playing game. This should be fun'.

Seeing the rewards tab, his eyes brightened.

'Ahh ten points! the pretty damsels shall know of my arrival ' he chuckled evilly as he rubbed his palms together.

Back from classes he was seated in his room, legs crossed in a meditating position. Having Copied the C Rank Talent, its was time to make use of it. With the added quest from the system and its rewards, its just made him more eager to do so. Besides, it was almost a month and he didn't want to found wanting.

He could feel the energy particles in the air, as it conglomerate around him, getting denser by each minute. They say the first time isn't easy, like a child trying to take his first step. Feeling enough charged particles around him, and without breaking concentration, he became a magnet as all of the energy essence flowed into him.

Like an empty cauldron been put into use, his essence tank began to fill up rapidly. This continued for more than thirty minutes as he continued to endure the heat welling up inside him. An hour later he was done. Feeling fatigue he decided to take a rest before setting out for training. Suddenly an enormous heat welled up inside him, threatening to burst free. His skin began to prickle and itch like a thousand needles striking each pores and a sand paper slowly been dragged along its surface. He screamed out loud before quickly stuffing his mouth with his shirt. His eyes bulged out, all red and teary as he bite harder into the fabric, his pupils dilated.

'So much pain!' was his last thought before he knocked out.

Six hours later, he woke up with a striking headache. His body was soaked in his own perspiration and his bedsheets wasn't spared.

Quickly he jumped down from the bed as he felt fuller than usual, brimming with energy. Though he felt slight body aches, but it wasn't that serious.

'Beautiful' was his first thought as he looked up his rewards. Without any contemplation on what to do next, he used the Stats points.

'Prime, add two points to Strength, Agility, and Stamina. oh, and yes add two to Charisma. With great power comes glory and women, I must be ready for the latter at any time' he grinned sheepishly as he walked into the bathroom for a hot shower.

The day ended uneventful as Jake did some light training, went through some books and made a mental note to visit the library tomorrow. The week flew by, as quickly as it came. In a blink of an eye it was a new week.

They say monday is the worst day of the week and it wasnt far from the truth for some of the students as today was the mandatory race that all first years had to participate in. He looked forward to the day as it dawn breaked, especially in completing the second mission.

The beg rang for the third time, sounding its final warning to the students. Early as six in the morning, and all the first years got a simple message via their communicator saying :

"Last person to reach the open arena field, time counts by seven".

Almost immediately everyone began to prepare. They all had an hour to do so, and some felt there was still time; more time to sleep. The crooked ones who wanted an edge over their colleagues immediately went outside their dormitories, only to be held back from moving past the gate by an invisible kinetic wall. No matter the ability been used, it simple swallowed it up and remained unshaken.

At exactly seven in the morning, the wall disappeared as the first alarm blared its sirens.

It was time to move out as the students all rushed out from various opening of their dormitories. The goal was not to be the last person, so any method could be used to achieve that goal. They all knew this and didn't hold back in exercising their abilities and skills.

Jake on his own at the moment was running at a normal pace. He felt slightly faster than he usually was, thanks to the stat point. Though he briefly considered adding the remaining two points to his Agility, but quickly kicked against the idea as it wouldn't make him a speedster, neither would it make a major difference to his pace. He knew that spending points on a whim would lead to nothing good, as it was best that some ought to be saved for emergencies.

"Incoming!"

"Her majesty is here, clear the road mortals!".

Quickly moving to his left, dodging the human train by a hair breathe, the first year most talented and the current Queen was carried by four muscular young men. Seated on her throne hoisted on their shoulders, she waved at her fellow students with glamour. Spreading love signs and kisses. She was the queen and all was her noble subjects.

"Delusional, aren't they ?"

"Huh"
