Fiona gave Chloe a look and immediately, Chloe disappeared to get the items Ryker requested.

The woman’s face turned pale at Ryker’s utterance that he could wake her daughter up, a look of worry fleeted across her eyes but it quickly vanished.

“How dare you mock my daughter’s dead body? She has been dead since the early hours of this morning, just leave her alone. If you don’t want to compensate me, just say so,” She protested vehemently, shoving Ryker again but he caught her hands this time.

“Have a little faith woman, do you want compensation or for your daughter to live?” Ryker’s tone was harsh.
