THE RISE OF JASON WALKERS Chapter one hundred and two
"Get your ass home now!" Dylan shouted at Ethan over the phone call. "Do you even know how you are trending right now?" You are dragging the family's name in the mud, you moron!" "Father, please. He says he is going to return the money if I do what was asked of me," Ethan said, looking at Jason, who was now laughing. "And you believe him?" Dylan shouted at him. "I don't care what bargain you struck with him. I need you to come back this instant. We are going to plan and get the money back from him no matter what." Ethan looked at Marcus and back at Jason. "I am going to make you regret this. You are going to wish you never crossed paths with me. Mark my words." Ethan walked out with a loud boo from the cheerers. Jason smiled and looked at Marcus, "I told you we are going to make them bleed. This is just the starting point." He looked at Fiona as she ran after Ethan. Jason's phone rang. He looked at who the caller was. "Zeek, what is the matter?" "You have a call from Mr. Nicholas

"Why don't we drop that and have hand-to-hand combat?" Jason teased. "Do you think you can take me on, kid?" Sniper grinned. "No one is to shoot." Sniper looked back. "I think I can handle one little kid." Jason looked at him, "Don't you think you need to take off your jacket? You might get it stained." Jason pushed further. "With your blood. Enough talking, kid; come get me." Sniper laughed, waving his fingers at Jason. Sniper charged at Jason, his massive frame barreling towards him like a freight train. Jason, unfazed by the intimidating sight, cracked his knuckles and smiled. "Bring it on, old man," Jason taunted, his eyes glinting with amusement. The two clashed in a flurry of punches and kicks, their movements lightning-fast as they exchanged blows. Sniper's brute strength was matched by Jason's agility and quick reflexes, making it a surprisingly evenly matched fight. The men watched in awe, their cheers and chants fueling the intensity of the battle. Marcus felt he

Henry Carter paced the room as he stared at his cell phone each time. He glanced at the wall clock on the wall and wondered why Sniper was not back. He wasn't picking up his call either. "Death!' He shouted at the top of his voice. A man walked into the room, his expression calm and collected. "Sir, I couldn't help but notice that you seem a bit... agitated," he said, his voice smooth as silk. Henry Carter turned to face him, his eyes blazing with anger. "Sniper was supposed to be back by now," he growled. "He's not answering my calls, and I have a feeling that something has gone terribly wrong." The man nodded sympathetically. "I'll send someone to look for him, sir. In the meantime, perhaps you should consider the possibility that Sniper may have been compromised." Henry's face turned red with rage. "Compromised? What are you talking about? Sniper is one of my most trusted men. He would never betray me."The man hesitated before speaking. "With all due respect, sir, you ma

Jason dropped the call and looked at Zeek. "Are you sure?" "You should ask the young man himself, or he is going to have to die at my hands if it turns out he is joking with me." Zeek replied, walking away from the door leading to the attic. Jason got up from his seat and looked back to see Marcus still seated. "Are you not coming?" He said with a steady voice. "I told you, Jason. This is getting really bloody. Why don't you allow the police to take care of things? I have someone who might be interested in your case. We can go to him and get revenge for all of this." Marcus said with a pleading voice, "The police? Did you just ask me to go to the fucking police? Jason clenched his fist. "I can't believe you just said that. I would have said you were with them on all of this, but I know the role and the part your father played to see me alive till date. Where was the police when my parents were killed or when your father was?" Jason looked around. "I don't think I am seeing them

Death increased his pace as he drove along the street, following every detail and movement of Jason's supposed movement. He got just outside Jason's mansion and smirked. "We are here." He said opening the car dashboard. Death brought out his phone and called Henry. "I found him, but I don't think it will be easy getting him out of here. This place is like a fortress." Death said, looking at the building in front of him. "What should I do?" Henry paced his room; the thought of killing Sniper, just like he had taken care of Venom, crossed his mind, but he needed to know if he was safe. He needed to know if Sniper told Jason anything and if he was coming for his neck. "Bring him back home, Death. But if he is compromised, then we have no option but to kill him." Death furrowed his gaze. He had always seen snipers as an opponent. "'What do you mean, sage him, boss? I don't think we need to save him. Sniper must have been compromised." "Are you telling me what to do? You are going to b

Death crouched behind a marble column in the garden, his gaze fixed on Jason and Marcus through the ornate glass windows of the mansion. He could hear faint murmurs but couldn’t make out their conversation. His earpiece buzzed with static before Henry's voice cut through."Death, do not engage unless absolutely necessary. We need Sniper alive—at least for now. If he's compromised, you know what to do."Death clenched his jaw, irritation flaring within him. "Understood," he whispered before disconnecting the call. He tightened the grip on his wire tape, his gaze darting to the second-floor balcony where a shadow moved.Inside the mansion, Zeek was cleaning his bloodied hands, his knuckles raw from his interrogation of Sniper. "You’re lucky Jason has plans for you, Sniper," Zeek sneered, leaning over him. "Otherwise, I’d send you straight to hell myself. Do you think we were going to let you go after killing George and Evelyn? For me, you are as good as dead." Sniper coughed, blood dr

"You need to tell me why Marcus and Jason are friends." Ethan looked at his father. "You will find out in due time, but for now, go to school and get your certificate. I will need someone by my side to run this empire, and you are going to need all the help you can get if you need to get your revenge and money back from Jason." Dylan got up when he heard his phone ring. "Okay, father." Ethan replied, feeling a little in on the circus. "Do I get one of that?" He popped the question, pointing to his father's tattoos. "It is not given, son. It is earned." "Speak to me, Henry. What is going on?" Dylan said, walking into his study. "We need to keep that bastard. That son of a bitch needs to die!" Henry barked. "Slow down, friend. We both know we cannot kill him now. The police will be on it once they find out that we had him almost killed the first time." Dylan sat sinking into the foamy chair right next to him. "He is getting on my nerves. I even had to snuff the life out of Venom for

[ BACK AT JASON'S MANSION ] "They are gone!" One of the men shouted in anger. Zeke walked in. "Do you know this was going to happen?" He said in anger. "Did you forget that easily?" Marcus and Zeek looked at themselves. "The last time we had the assassin captured. He was killed right before he could talk. I knew that Henry Carter was behind the attack then. Or should I say Fiona, who contracted him after he must have gone rogue? Henry Carter is not a very good planner. I know he is going to slip very soon." "What did you do?" Marcus looked at Jason, who seemed satisfied with the fact that Sniper got away. "I don't see how any of this is good news. We need Henry in a corner and have him arrested if Sniper had given us what we wanted." Zeek looked at Jason and back at Marcus. "Shh... just wait for it. I know what I am doing." Jason said relaxing. "I knew someone was going to come get him." Jason said with a devilish smile. "If you are going to catch a monkey, then you might need t

" What are you taking about?" Jason snapped. " You know what I mean and I expect you to keep to the end of the bargain." Leonard replied and the call went off. Jason had his face squeezed but then Camilla's call came in again. At first, Jason decided he was not going to have it picked but he had a changed of mind. " What is it?" He snapped at her. " I am not calling to fight you, Jason. But I think we need to bury the hatchet and key bygone be bygones." Camilla replied The tension was thick. Jason kept silence, he had lost too much to trust people, to believe they wanted the best for him. Wit the death of his enemies, Jason knew it was time to build a life for himself. " Fine." he replied after some moment of silence. " Is that what you really want?" He asked staring through the transparent louvres to see Marcus now sleeping. " Yes, why don't we have a family gathering?" Camilla added The idea of sitting round a big family table and not familiar with the faces made his stoma

Jason rushed into the hospital and dashed towards the doctor's office. Upon entering, he sat down to catch his breath. " Talk to me doctor, how is he?" Jason looked at the man seated before him. He looked at him in awe and wondered how Jason had gotten quickly to the hospital. " Take your time." The doctor said gently seeing how he was breathing. When he was sure Jason was stable, he smiled at him. " It looks like your friend is a fighter. He is going to livebut then..." Jason listen with rapt attention, " But what doctor?" he asked looking at his face. " I am sorry but he lost his memories." The doctor said with a sad countenance. " Lost his memories? How?" Jason looked at him. The fact that he felt alone made him forget how Marcus had planned to have him killed. All he needed was a companion at the moment but the only person he could rely on can't even remember him. " He hit his head pretty hard making making him suffer from retrograde amnesia," the doctor explained, his expres

Jason unlocked the door with lots of blood on his shirt. He had gone with some of his men to fight Henry Carter but none followed him back. As he got in, he suddenly felt the heaviness on him. The long term quest of making whoever killed his parents finally ended that day. He walked with a shaky breath towards the wine rack. He took a bottle of whiskey and decided to drink. He was not sure if he was to celebrate his victory over the most vicious member of his family or he should be sad for the death of his men. Especially, Zeek who he had always seen like his brother. He looked towards the picture that was at the center of the table with Zeek smiling at him. He remembered the training, his word of advise and how he finally helped him get ready to face Henry. Tears well his face as he gulped down the hot whiskey that burnt his throat. His phone rang and he saw it was Leonard. Jason cleaned his face and sniffled. " How was it?" Leonard asked, his voice carrying a bit of concern. "

The tension was high as both side calculated the risk involved in the shoot out. Jason was meticulous about having Henry Carter arrested to testify to killing his parents while Zeek was all about getting his sweet revenge. The cold body of Ethan Mathew laid on the floor, white as snow as the men all looked at themselves. Death on the other hand wanted a pound of flesh. He remembered how Henry Carter had send his men after him to take him down. " Drop it, Zeek. It doesn't have to end like this. We can let the law handle this." Jason said again, this time with a softer version. " What happens then? What will you do if the law let him go, discharge a criminal who is guilty of mass murderers. What will you do then?" Zeek snapped. " I will make sure he never gets out. Can you trust me on this one?" Jason looked at him. After some minutes of persuasion, Zeek slowly began to lower his arms but then the loud blowing siring id the police van made Jason loose focus for a bit. He t

Henry's face turned pale. He looked at Ethan who was led in with a gun at the back of his head. " So what? I didn't know he was hiding in my house!" Henry snapped Jason let out a weird laughter as he walked towards the charity beside him. " So, Henry. What is it going to be? Are you going to give up and let the law handle the rest or do I need to take matters into my own hands." Jason sat down staring at his face. " What is it going to be huh?" Death walked in with his face covered in blood and a bit of his clothes stained. He also had a cut to a corner of his face. Ethan fell on his knees and ran towards Jason. " I a sorry for everything Jason. I wouldn't have taken your girlfriend. We could have been best friend if not for our father's. Can you just let bygones be bygones." He said holding Jason's knees. " Bygones be bygones huh?" Jason looked at him. " I am not even holding any grudges against you. But you did hurt my feelings and make me into a simpleton. You even stole my gi

As the man walked closer towards Jason, he could not believe it. "What are you doing here?" He asked, staring with disbelief in his voice. "Are you going to stay, or are you going to leave and let me handle this?" Leonard asked, staring at him. "We don't have time for this. We need to leave now!" Zeek shouted at Jason while Death took his time to snipe some of the men coming straight at them. "Go now, go!" Leonard shouted. "Thanks, you are not going to regret this." Jason looked at Leonard as he got into the car he brought. Jason and his men entered the car Leonard had brought while his men lingered behind to fight off the bunch of hired assassins that were trying to catch Jason and Zeek. Ethan was about to walk away from the door when the bell rang. His face gleamed with joy. Fiona was here. The door automatically opened, and she walked in, a bit of a surprise look on her face to see Ethan to be with him. She could see the atmosphere and wondered what was going on. "Why are you here, and why is my uncle having a gun?" Fiona asked, staring at both of them. " Jason would be here anytime soon. I need him to get his facts right. He is going to come at him with everything he has got. Ethan should be calm and shouldn't let him know the truth." Henry replied, walking back to his seat. Fiona looked at Ethan. "He didn't kill your father, did he?" She asked, staring at him. "Does it matter? The police think he did. That is the version of the story we are going with, and Ethan here is going to make sure of it. Jason needs to disappear away from our lives for all our sakes." Henry said with a croaky voice. "Are you sure no one saw you do it?" Fiona looked at him. "Zeek. He

Henry looked at Ethan, who was now looking sober. "Is this your first time killing a human?" He asked with delight. He was actually happy with the fact that Ethan took out Dylan himself.Ethan nodded, not sure of what to say. "This is very simple. When asked who killed him, all you need to say, the name you need to call, is Jason Carter," Henry said immediately. "Don't worry, I have got this. All you need to do is follow my lead." He replied, sipping the reddish wine in front of him. "And Zeek? He saw my face. He knew I killed my father," Ethan replied, frightened. But instead, Henry found it amusing. "Your father? Didn't you kill him because you found out that he wasn't your father?" he paused, staring into Ethan's face. There was a bit of a tense atmosphere between the both of them. "I was going to tell you that you were just a loafer, but then that would break your heart," Henry jested. Ethan looked at him and noticed Henry was enjoying all of this. He had a lot to gain from

"What do you mean I have to follow you to the station?" Jason looked at both men. "We received a threatening note about your criminal activities." One of the men replied. Jason was surprised; Zeek was not around or a key witness to what they were saying.Jason was immediately dragged out of the house and thrown into the police car. The laptop he had was also taken along with him. "And who told you that I was a criminal?" Jason asked, looking at their faces, but he was met with a long silence that he immediately stopped asking any more questions. On getting to the police station, Jason immediately called me, Nicholas, who refused to pick up his call after Jason had spoken to him rudely.Jason called Zeek immediately, " I need you to get here now and also contact Mr Nicholas. He needs to send the company's lawyer to me, or I am going to fire his ass!" Jason ordered The men looked at him and laughed, "Do you think your lawyer can get you out of this mess?"
