CHAPTER 34

The founding father, whose name Arthur didn’t care to memorise, strode towards him. Immediately, Arthur stepped in with Jim, Uncle Derrick, and his wife. Arthur smiled and left to meet with some businessmen he had met during his father’s memorial. He hadn’t seen them in a long time. They received him genuinely and looked up to him for approval on their comments. He was pleased by their reception and the recognition that they gave him. He had never been accorded respect like this until he became Arthur Craig.

Someone called him. He turned and smiled sardonically. Federick Gomez. The man looked better than the last time they saw him. He was obviously enjoying the money Arthur had paid him.

‘Fancy seeing you here, Arthur. How are you doing?’

Arthur smiled, shaking his hands. ‘I am alright. So, what are you up to now? Still dealing with a court case?’
