Sebastian got to his feet shaking his head to clear the cobwebs that infiltrated his head when he hit the wall. He glanced at whatever threw him and scoffed.
Kain stood before Leona who was shocked at what had happened, around him were several individuals wearing robes that fell into their faces, clandestineing their features. He grabbed Leona by the hair and dragged her to her feet after she fell when he threw Sebastian.
“It's nice, isn't it? The secret technique cultivated by my father, the iron touch. But since I can't humiliate you, I'll humiliate her instead.” Kain said as his eyes widened, a gleam of insanity flashing deep within them.
He placed his right hand on Leon's stomach and the alchemic runes on his body glowed golden. An explosive shockwave was repelled behind Leona as Kain applied the alchemic chain reaction inside her body using her torso to guide it through her midsection.
Leona coughed as blood fell on the grass blade beneath her, her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she passed out from the pain before she even got a chance to scream; Kain looked at her limp body and threw her over to Sebastian.
Sebastian gritted his teeth, his red eyes brimming bright red. A flash of madness covered his pupils making them glow further. He reached out to her and held her in his arms absorbing the impact she came with.
Sebastian looked at her unconscious face and leaned down, he licked the blood on the edges of her lips.
A red wave seeped from his pores and swirled around him. Sebastian got to his feet, his hands outstretched as the corners of his lips tugged upward. “I'm gonna enjoy butchering you.”
> Call my name <
A voice resonated in his head and Sebastian did just that without hesitation, the desire to maim the man before him overwhelming his rational thinking.
“Rashoumon.” He said in a low tone and the aura around him fluctuated, it took the form of a cloak around him.
Kain looked at the emanating aura, he tried to move but his body was stuck in pace, the malice rolling off Sebastian wasn't normal. It was heightened beyond proportions
Phased by the display of power, Kain looked at his subjects. “Attack him!!”
They nodded and raised their hands as alchemic markings wrote themselves on their hands converging on their palms. The act of transmutation one thing to the other happened as the alchemists transmuted the carbon atoms into a flammable substance and used their fingers to ignite the flammable substance when it came into contact with the oxygen present, it roared into flames that tore through the courtyard burning everything.
Sebastian walked forward, the flames reflecting in his eyes but he was not scared by them. Rashoumon, the cloak started moving and the ends shot out from the cloak distorting and becoming heads, they chomped down on the flames tearing them apart till they were extinguished.
Kain's jaw hung open. “Impossible… those were class 1 alchemists.” he couldn't believe his eyes.
A combination of at least seven alchemists' transmutation was easily shredded by the cloak.
He was stilled by fear, he gritted his teeth mentally berating himself about his inability to overcome his fear. Kain bit his lips and was finally able to move, the pain overwhelming the fear that had his heart in a chokehold.
Sebastian looked at the alchemists. “Perish.” In a cold voice, he commanded, the cloak scattered again piercing the ground, traveling under the surface, and emerged beneath the alchemists Kain brought. The mouths clamped on the alchemists' legs, and arms.
Having incapacitated them, Sebastian pointed his hand at Kain, and the cloak shot from his arm, crossing the distance faster than Kain could blink. The mouth of the cloak clamped on Kain's torso and held him in place as Sebastian got closer.
“Have mercy!!” Kain begged, seeing his life flash in front of his eyes when he locked eyes with Sebastian.
He saw the infinite ways he would die and he resorted to begging for his life.
Sebastian exhaled. “I'll spare your life on one condition.”
“Anything!!”
“I want you to convince your father to give Leona 70% of your family's company.”
“What!!! That's not happening.”
Sebastian smirked and locked eyes with Kain, his eyes gleamed a bit and he instilled fear further in Kain. “It's either that, or I kill you, you decide.”
Kain cried out in pain as he felt the Jaws sink further into his body. “I'll do it!!”
“Good, double cross me and I'm coming for every one of your family.” Sebastian was satisfied, Rashoumon glowed in excitement before it extended to the walls with Kain and his alchemists.
Rashoumon dumped them outside the walls unceremoniously before returning to Sebastian's side and disappeared.
Sebastian went back to Leona, he picked up the woman bridal style and made his way to the gathering hall to see if there was someone who could help her.

The whole Lincolnshire family was about to go outside after feeling the tremors when the doors opened and Sebastian came inside holding Leona.
Leon's mother, Julia saw the state her daughter was in and immediately hurried to Sebastian. She couldn't hear anything but the sound of her heartbeat resonating louder than her gargantuan footsteps. All she could see was the blood dripping on the red carpet, and her heart rate increased.
She stepped before Sebastian and struck him across the face with the back of her hand, her knuckles hitting Sebastian on the cheek. She glared at him with teary eyes. “What have you done to my daughter!!”
Sebastian swallowed the blood in his mouth after he bit his cheek when Julia hit him. He glared at the woman with indifference in his eyes. “Someone get her help.”
Everyone heard his plea, but none were obligated to help him. In their eyes, he was the same pitiful and brash man who hoarded their wealth.
Mira laughed from her position beside Madame Lincolnshire. “And why should we help her?”
Sebastian glared at the woman grinning triumphantly. “If you don't want what's going to happen in the next five minutes it would be wise for you to help her”
Madame Lincolnshire coughed, bothered by the tone Sebastian used. “You aren't in the position to be making threats, you are nothing!”
Sebastian chuckled. “isn't it funny, that you think I am nothing but you are scumbags, one of your grandchildren got hurt and you are talking about me making threats, I see the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.”
“You dare disrespect Madame Lincolnshire!” One of the Sons-in-law there said as he stepped forward, his eyebrows furrowed.
Sebastian didn't look at him. “Rashoumon.” the cloak extension shot from him and knocked the man away slamming him into the windows.
. “Fine then,” Sebastian said and left the gathering hall with Leona in his arms.He left the compound.
Once outside, He took out his phone and dialed Goodwin's contacts.
“Goodwin,”
“Yes sir!”
“Is our company associated with Lincolnshire Corps by any chance?”
“Yes sir, The Lincolnshire has a twelve-year contract with our marketing department. Why do you ask.”
“I want you to terminate the contract immediately, don't give an explanation as to why. Just tell them when Leona is given what is rightfully hers, then shall Renegade Corps work with them.”
“Understood sir anything else?”
“Get one of those drivers here, I need to take someone to the hospital, tell them if they take more than five minutes they are fired.”
“Understood.”
Within five minutes of hanging up the phone, a black SUV was beside Sebastian. The chauffeur opened the door for Sebastian to enter and he did, he gave the chauffeur instructions to take them to the hospital
The SUV drove off, trails blazing as the driver was afraid to incur the wrath of his boss.

After they arrived at the hospital, Sebastian gave Leona away to the doctors and followed them into the operating rooms. He stood outside, leaning on the wall opposite to the door that had the sign of operating glowing. His hands folded and eyes closed.
“My lord!” Goodwin greeted as he made his way to Sebastian.
Sebastian opened his eyes and looked at Goodwin. “Goodwin, did you do what I asked?”
“Yes my lord, the Lincolnshire have been notified though if I may ask, what made you take such action? You know that it won't end well, especially in the public eye.”
“Well, you can say that's me repaying my debt to someone even though she never helped me, her accepting me when I was dirty, covered in grime, and starved. She didn't find me gross, just found my social hierarchy standing the stain in everything.”
“I see, by chance do you mean Mrs Leona Lincolnshire? The famed Empress of Lycoris City?”
A look of surprise washed over Sebastian as Goodwin asked that, his question was detailed and to the point, he knew about Leona. But that made sense, he knew about him when they first met without Sebastian introducing himself.
“Yeah she is my dearest wife, until we are divorced I'll do anything in my power to protect her. Talking about power, do you perhaps know what the sixth lord's power is?”
Goodwin nodded. “Yes, the Sixth Lord unlike the other five doesn't possess many familiars. The recorded number of familiars I've seen from Miss Belladonna is twelve.”
“What about a cloak that moves on its own?”
Goodwin glanced at Sebastian, a flabbergasted look marrying his facial features. “You've met Rashoumon?”
“That was the name that called out to me.”
“Rashoumon is one of the twelve familiars Miss Belladonna used. It is a sentient form of energy and blood essence produced within you and it has the special ability to go against any phenomenon.”
“Go against any phenomenon?”
“Yes, the cloak can adapt to anything making it the perfect counter for alchemists, demons, and us Vampires alike however, it does have a limit. It cannot affect or adapt to holy alchemy.”
Sebastian nodded, the explanation from Goodwin shed some light on his strength. It pieced up the pieces of why the Sixth Lord was feared this much that the previous sixth lord was assassinated for simply existing, the familiars he possessed were too strong to be let loose.
The operating room doors opened and the doctors exited one by one. The head doctor told Sebastian that they managed to close the wound and that she was fine. He told Sebastian to confirm with the reception about the money to settle the operation cost and left.
Sebastian walked inside the room, the stench of medicine flooded his nostrils as he took a seat beside the bed. He looked at Leona and brought his hand to caress her crimson locks.
“Why did you help me?” Leona stirred awake, her voice hoarse from the damage she suffered.
Sebastian's facial features softened as he looked at her red eyes that gleamed like rubies. She was as beautiful as the day he laid eyes on her, even in her weekend state. Her beauty refused to diminish, it stood triumphantly in his eyes.
“I did it because you are my wife.”
His words made Leon's eyes sting, tears rolled down her cheek making small rivulets on her face. “Your wife? That... Sounds nice, but you've never called me that before not that I'm complaining what made you say it now.”
Sebastian rubbed the back of his head with his other hand and a small chuckle escaped his lips. “I don't know why I haven't done that.”
“Thank you…”
Sebastian smiled and got up, he kissed Leona on the forehead, his eyes softening and his heart growing fonder from the gesture. “I'm just being a good husband.”
Leona smiled and closed her eyes, perhaps she had misjudged his character, took his social standing at face value missing every redeeming quality about him. Her heart fluttered as she felt the lips on her forehead.
“Good husband, that sounds nice.” She whispered as she drifted to sleep.
Sebastian left the ward after heading to attend business. His eyes flared with intense fury as he took gargantuan strides out of the hospital.
Lycoris City had a new chain of command, and he was intending to be as ruthless as ruthless can be.
“You did what?!!!” A man with white hair asked, veins visible on his face as he glared at Kain sitting pitifully across him. Kain had told his father, Sir. Ivan Merrill of his deal with the Lincolnshire son-in-law and he was not amused. His son losing to that person was shameful but him agreeing to hand over 70% of their family business over to Leona, that was a step the Lincolnshire Family dared to take and he was ready for war.“Did you get attacked by the Lincolnshire Family?” Ivan asked for the umpteenth time that night. Kain shook his head, tears running down his face as he looked at his lap. His hands balled into fists. “No father… it was that Son-in-law, he was a demon possessed.” Ivan held his chin and released a soft hum. That was truly disturbing, perhaps the Lincolnshire lied about their son-in-law not possessing any aptitude in alchemy or mana but for a single individual to stop seven more Class 1 alchemist single-handedly something not even he can do it. “You are dis
“Here’s to lord Emerich 100 years as the keeper of peace”Loud cheers ripped across the rather heavily occupied hall. 100 years ago the first vampire, one of the five military forces governing the supernatural world decided they had enough blood on their hands, and thus the first ever unity, also known as the peace trinity was brought into existence.A man with blond hair and crimson eyes stepped onto the stage, his face expressing nothing but bliss. As the first vampire to be recognized as the strongest military force Emerich felt proud to be a revolutionary figure in each race's progressionSqueals from fan girls tore through the roof as Emerich took a stand on the pedestal beside a woman with crimson hair and equally crimson eyes. Sebastian’s onyx eyes stared at the pedestal, his eyes were heavily focused on Emerich, most importantly where his hand was. He gritted his teeth, he knew that the woman he called wife did not care one bit about his emotions, the triumphant look directed
“Ugh!” Sebastian groaned as he opened his eyes. He shut them afterward as the sun settled into them.He got up from the ground and opened his eyes, his vision now adjusted to the brightness around him. He looked around and his eyebrows went up as he creased his forehead muscles in confusion. He was in the same place he was the night before. He tried to remember what had happened, but his memory was foggy.A patrol car stopped beside him and the driver-side window rolled down as the policeman inside looked at him. “Young man, what happened here last night?”“I don't know. I was just passing here when you stopped me.” Sebastian lied, half of his statement was true since he didn't know what happened, and the other half was false. He was not passing there, he had been there for over 12 hours. The policeman took his answer as genuine and told him to take care of himself. The patrol car took off, leaving Sebastian alone.Sebastian sighed once more and retrieved his wallet from his pocket. H
