"Uhh, yes, there, just right there!"

Ethan clutched his fingers tightly, forming a fist as he watched the video in front of him. The woman in the video screamed loudly, but each sound pierced Ethan’s heart like a knife.

“No… This can’t be my wife…”

Ethan’s hands trembled as he tried to turn off the video. He couldn’t believe that his wife would do something like this!

But just a second before the video closed, a distinctive tattoo flashed before Ethan’s eyes.

It was Dana’s tattoo—one inked on a private part of her body, something only someone extremely intimate with her would know about.

So… this video wasn’t AI-generated.

Ethan shut the video with shaking hands, his heart sinking into despair.

Seeing a video of his wife in his own email—it was an unbearable humiliation!

What enraged him even more was the sender’s name: Eric Johnson!

This was the man who had been getting close to his wife recently—the heir of the Johnson family!

“I hope you can face reality and stop clinging to the position of Dana’s husband. She’s so successful in business, while all you do is waste away at home! You saw it yourself—she’s happy with me…”

The arrogant words filled Ethan with agony. He collapsed onto the sofa, his mind completely blank.

He had no idea how much time had passed when, suddenly, the front door swung open.

"Why was the front door not locked?" Dana's voice rang in the room as she abruptly walked in, holding her heels in her right hand.

She staggered towards the sofa close to the bed in the bedroom and threw her bag to it; the smell of alcohol reeked over her, and Ethan just couldn't bring himself to stare at her.

"Are you deaf? You really want to act like you didn't hear me or see that I'm back home," she hissed, swaying to the bathroom.

As she opened the door, her eyes fell on the empty bathtub, and in a rage, she turned to Ethan and thundered, "Why didn't you prepare a bath for me? Have you suddenly become so comfortable that you no longer know what to do?"

Ethan scoffed, lifting his gaze to face her with bloodshot eyes. He got to his feet, standing so tall that even with the distance between them, one would notice the height difference between them.

"I want a divorce," he said sternly with no ounce of joke in his tone.

"Haha haha, it's either that you're joking or I'm beginning to hear things," Dana sneered.

"It's not a joke, Dana; I want a divorce," Ethan repeated. This time, he was cold.

Dana stared at him, waiting for him to call it a prank, but Ethan's expression was stern.

"You can't be serious, Ethan. You know that my company is about to bag a big deal with Secret Company! Having a divorce now would be scandalous. It would affect the deal, Ethan," she frowned.

"You know this company is one of the biggest in the country; you can't really be serious with the divorce thing right now. You know how much their cooperation means to me," she added. For a second, one would think that Dana didn't just walk into the room drunk.

Ethan shook his head in disbelief; she spoke with so much confidence and boldness. Every word that escaped her lips didn't get to Ethan; he was irritated by them.

With a straight expression, he opened his phone and took his hand forward, showing the video Eric sent to her.

"Take a look at this, Dana; if you care so much about your big deal, then you shouldn't have cheated."

Dana was immediately speechless; she swallowed hard, trying to get a hold of Ethan's phone, but he didn't let her.

"How did you get this video?" she asked, still in shock.

Ethan ignored her and shoved his phone into his pocket. His silence irked Dana so much that she stepped forward and hissed,

"Is that why you want a divorce? What did you really expect from me? To stay faithful? Wait, I don't understand you. You really think that all the money I spend is from my company's account? I need financial help, Ethan, and that's something you can't give."

"This deal I have with Secret company is all thanks to Eric; the trip I went on last week was funded by him! What exactly have you done for me to stay faithful to you? Huh, do you even want to know what I think?" She paused, expecting to get a reaction from Ethan, but unfortunately, she couldn't.

Eric is the senior manager at Secret Company. Because of his position, he was able to aid Dana in getting the contract with them, but they're yet to finalize everything and sign.

Ethan kept a straight face, waiting for her to continue, "I think that you owe me, yes! You owe me for putting a roof over your head, you owe me for feeding you, for sponsoring your very cheap lifestyle." She yelled.

"And now, you’re trying to ruin my collaboration with Secret Company through our divorce?" Dana’s sharp voice grated on Ethan’s nerves.

Ethan was stunned; he didn't think that Dana would just admit to it; he didn't expect her to be this shameless.

He responded coldly, "Don’t worry, Dana. I won’t make our divorce public… In fact, we never even announced our marriage. Don’t you think it’s a bit ridiculous for you to be concerned about this?"

Dana froze. It was true—she had never publicly acknowledged her marriage to Ethan. Aside from her closest friends, no one even knew he existed.

Ethan looked at her and let out a self-mocking chuckle.

"We can add that to the divorce terms. I would never reveal to the public that I am your ex-husband because it would be the greatest disgrace to me!" Ethan said.

Dana was furious and humiliated. Cornered by Ethan’s words, she had no way to retreat. Her voice rose as she shouted,

“Divorce! I’ve had enough of a useless man like you! I’d love to see how you survive without me—besides begging on the streets, what else can you possibly do?”

Ethan remained expressionless as he silently handed Dana the divorce agreement he had just finalized.

"Done!" Dana cut in, signing the papers without thinking twice.

"You will surely regret this, Ethan; you're making a big mistake." She paused, taking her hand forward as she pointed a finger that Ethan,

"Look, don't expect me to give you a penny, and don't think that I'll let you sleep in my villa." She informed.

Ethan nodded before responding, "I won't regret it."

He turned and walked out of the mansion, making his way out of the villa when a Rolls-Royce Sweptail pulled up in front of him.

A blonde haired lady stepped out of the car and quickly approached Ethan.

"Hello, are you Mr. Ethan?" The woman in front of him asked nervously.

"It’s me. Who are you? What do you want?" Ethan asked coldly, his voice low and indifferent.

The woman lowered her head anxiously and bowed deeply to Ethan.

Her bow was so deep that Ethan could see half of her breast.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Ethan. My name is Rosanna, and I’m a business competitor of your wife… Our company may have used certain special methods to compete with her before. I wasn’t aware of your identity at the time…"

Rosanna explained nervously.

Ethan frowned. He hadn’t completely hidden his identity—anyone who put in a bit of effort could find out that he was a key figure in Secret Company.

All business matters related to Secret Company had been entrusted to his wife. He had never cared about that Eric at all!

Of course, he had an even more covert identity, one that ordinary people wouldn’t be able to uncover so easily.

Ethan let out a self-mocking laugh. How ironic—his wife’s competitor had managed to investigate his identity, yet Dana herself never cared enough to find out.

Yet, his wife even believed that all the credit belonged to Eric!

To her, he was nothing but a useless failure, not even worth the effort of looking into.

With an indifferent expression, Ethan said, "No need to apologize. Dana and I are no longer related."

Ethan’s words stunned Rosanna for a moment—she didn’t quite understand what he meant. From the intelligence she had gathered, Ethan held a high position in Secret Company. How could Dana possibly let go of such an outstanding man? Sensing that something was off, she quickly said, “Did… something happen? Perhaps I could invite you and Miss Dana to dinner and help clear up any misunderstandings…” “I already said, that won’t be necessary.” Ethan’s voice was icy cold. Without hesitation, he mercilessly interrupted Rosanna , casually raising his hand to hail a taxi. Rosanna bit her lip and immediately instructed her driver, “Follow that taxi!” And so, a luxury car discreetly tailed a taxi all the way to a small tavern. Ethan glanced calmly at the luxury car behind him but didn’t bother to chase Rosanna away. Instead, he stepped into the tavern and ordered a drink, hoping to calm himself down. “Sir, is this seat taken?” A charming smile appeared on Rosanna ’s face as she looked at

"What happened, Gina? I have a very important conference call coming up," Dana said, frowning."It's your ex-husband! He just got divorced from you, and now he's already at a bar drinking with another woman! And guess what? He even got into a conflict with the Los Lobos gang!" Gina said excitedly, her face full of gossip."What did you say?!" Dana was furious. That bastard Ethan! He had the audacity to go drinking with another woman right after divorcing her?And he had the nerve to accuse her of cheating? He must have been secretly fooling around with other women long before this! And Los Lobos—he actually dared to pick a fight with those ruthless thugs?"So, what happened? Did they beat him to a pulp?" Dana asked, a hint of happy in her tone. She hoped her useless ex-husband could be beaten badly by gangsters."Not at all! Your useless ex-husband can actually fight pretty well. Then, he made a call to the Los Lobos boss, and after that, they all kneeled down and apologized to him!"

What’s the matter?" Lilian's voice was soft and gentle."Lilian, I need you to make some adjustments on the names on the list." Initially, he had planned on making sure that Dana's company became one of Secret Company's biggest business partners, making sure that the company became one of the best, but unfortunately, Roseanne would have to take that spot."What adjustment, sir?" Lilian asked."Dana's name is on the list of business partners, is that right?" He asked just to confirm that it

Rosanna was just as annoyed by Dana’s tone. She frowned and said, “This isn’t your private party. Do you really think you have the authority to decide who can and can’t be here?” Dana chuckled, clearly amused by Rosanna’s words. With a smug expression, she said, “Maybe I don’t, but my date does.” “Let me introduce you—Eric Johnson, senior manager of Secret Company. And you two, skulking around here without an invitation, who knows if you’re trying to sneak in?” “Who said we don’t have an invitation?” Ethan said coldly. He stepped forward, positioning himself protectively in front of Rosanna. “Ethan! We just signed the divorce papers yesterday, and now you’re already with her?” Dana accused, her voice full of fury. Ethan remained calm. “Dana, you just said it yourself—we signed the divorce papers yesterday. So whoever I’m with now is none of your business.” “You—!” Dana was livid. Her anger boiled over as she snapped, “You must’ve been fooling around with her long before this! And

"Take a look at the badge again; this is a giant dragon and not a bear!" Eric said, causing the security guard to take the invite again, taking one last look. "“No wonder I always felt something was off! So that's what it is! You're right!" he said in a rage. This mistake could make him lose his job; thinking of the possibility of that, he was immediately enraged. "You came here, thinking that you could deceive your way in?" he asked. "I'm not surprised that you could stoop so low, Ethan. You must have planned this with Roseanna, but do you actually know what's funny?" She paused, turning to Eric before shifting her gaze back to them. "It's funny how it almost worked if not for Eric," she added. "You should be grateful for the kind of senior manager that you have because trust me, if any other official had found out, you would have lost your job," Dana said. "You're dressed in a fine suit, but your attitude downgrades your personality." The security guard commented, feeling disg

Roseanna couldn't stop grinning as Dana took some steps away from the entrance. "Dana," Roseanna called, "Don't forget to kneel," she reminded before walking into the hall with Ethan, causing Dana to boil. "Eric!!!! What kind of humiliation is this?" She asked, furiously. "Calm down, Dana; I'm trying to sort things out," he informed. "Why is it taking time for you to sort things out? Can you do it immediately!" She said. Seeing that speaking with the security captain was useless, Eric took his phone out of his pocket and dialed his boss number. "Who are you calling?" Dana was being impatient. "My boss. He can sort the matter," he responded. "Hello, Mr. Will Port," Eric said as soon as the man answered the call. Will Port owns 5% of Secret Company's shares, and Eric has been bribing him for the longest time now. "I need your help. I'm at the commercial dinner party, and I'm outside the entrance. The guards wouldn't let me in," Eric explained. "And why is that?" Will Port as

As Ethan got into the taxi, he immediately informed the man of his direction, and in the next second, the man started the car and drove off. Ethan didn't want to go straight home; he knew he had some unfinished business before the day of the auction. The driver stopped him in front of a pub, not just any pub; it accommodated mafias and illegal business owners in it. Ethan got down from the taxi, dipping his hand into his almost empty pocket only to bring out a dollar note. It wouldn't be enough to pay the driver, and the local account he just opened won't start running until 24 hours. He stretched his hand forward, handing the driver the money. "What is this?"
