Ever since Lisa returned from Roving Ventures, she had barely done any paperwork. If she had presented her proposal and gotten a few remarks from Fredrick, she wouldn’t have felt any load on her chest but now, there were lots of drafts on her table and she could barely look at anyone. “Sorry, I got caught up in traffic.” Nathan apologized immediately after he walked into the board room. Last night, he had directed Fredrick to schedule a meeting with all the board of directors at Roving Ventures. The partnership party was taking place the next day and Nathan wanted to ensure that it was a grand affair. It turned out that word had slipped out that the Alcantara’s were now open to partnerships even though it was made clear that only selected brands could send proposals. Fredrick had also informed Nathan about the reputable organizations walking up to him to seek invitations to attend the grand event since they weren’t selected as partners. “Since it was made clear that someone from the Alcantara clan will be present at the party, brand owners are desperate. It was the day of the partnership party and word had already gone around the streets that the only company owned by the Alcantaras in Springville was hosting a one-of-a-kind event. At the venue, several exotic cars were already pulling up and were being directed by security experts toward the parking lot. The planning team had placed everything in order from coordinating the guests, decorations, and lighting, to bringing in top-tier caterers and all that was needed to throw a world-class party. The partnership party was slated for 7 pm. The guests will first of all have dinner, hang around, and then begin the meeting at 8 pm. Standing on the podium right next to Fredrick, Nathan gave a slight bow out of courtesy to the people and finally took the stage right after Fredrick moved away.
