“Who does Damien think he is? And how dare him barge into my house like that?” Mr Blackwood paced angrily up and down the house.

“Calm down, Mr Blackwood. That beggar isn’t worth anything, let alone our anger. He doesn’t deserve to get our anger out of us like this. We have to stay calm,” Ken said.

“You’re right, Babe. Damien is just a beggar. And we can’t simply get annoyed from what a street beggar like Damien says. We all know that we weren’t the ones that tried to rob him—”

“Rob him?” Ken cut in. “I don’t think that phony was robbed at all. I think this is all part of his scheme.”

“Yes!” Mrs Blackwood echoed. “You’re right, Ken, I also feel like he’s faking.”

“This must be one of his many trump cards. That beggar wants to ruin our name in the city by filing a complaint against us for robbery. That beggar knows what he’s doing but I won’t let him go through this devious plan of his,” Anna said.

“What if he actually got robbed?” Mr Blackwood asked.
