Call Your president

After about ten minutes, Max was done paying and had filled out all the necessary forms. The doctors assured him that they were going to arrange for the operation as soon as they could.

Max sighed as he walked out of the hospital holding the bag of money his wife's assistant had brought for him. Walking to his bike, Max started it and headed towards Cisco company.

He might as well visit the company since he had some time left. There was still about an hour left before going to pick up his wife from work.

Riding along the highway was such a hassle, but Max was already used to it. In no time, he was already at the company.

Looking at the huge building which was one of the tallest buildings in the city, Max felt a sense of complex feeling welling up in his heart. Pushing all thoughts to the back of his mind, he walked into the building.

"Hey! Stop there!" A hoarse voice sounded just as Max was about to walk into the building.

Max frowned and turned around only to see a huge man in security clothes taking large strides toward him.

"What's the matter?" Max frowned, feeling a bit annoyed.

"Beggars are not allowed in here, get out!" The security man pointed at the door.

Max frowned, feeling annoyed with the security man's statement. It was true that the clothes he was wearing were shabby and old, but how dare he speak to him like that?

"Didn't you hear what I just said? I said get the fuck out!" The man yelled walking closer to Max.

"Fuck off!" Max spat coldly.

"How dare you?" The security man yelled and punched Max.

Max frowned and raised his hands intercepting the punch while kicking his torso.

"Arrrghhh!"

The man screamed in pain as he was sent flying by Max's kick. Max ignored the man and walked into the building. He hated wasting his time on fools.

"I'm here to see Ethan." Max frowned immediately as he got to the receptionist who was staring at him in disgust.

"Who the hell do you think you are, beggar?" The woman at the reception table yelled hearing Max's words.

"Even the mayor of the city would have to be respectful when asking about Mr. Ethan but you just came and said his name, how brazen?"

"I'm Max Darkwood," Max frowned, staring coldly at the woman in front of him feeling repulsed, he would have beaten her up if not for the fact that she was a lady. It wasn't that he wasn't going to deal with her, he was going to do so once he was out of patience.

"Get Ethan here right now, I'll be giving him only a minute to come here," Max uttered coldly, his voice sending shivers down the spine of the receptionist.

He originally didn't want to accept the offer in the first place, but now that he had seen a way to regrade his words, why wasn't he going to exploit it?

"Fine, I'll call the higher-ups and tell them what you said." The woman grunted and picked up the telephone unwillingly.

"Sir, a man named Max Darkwood came and asked about Mr. Ethan, he even asked him to show up in a minute."

"Who the hell is he? Call the security men and throw him out right now?!" The man at the other end of the phone yelled.

Today was such an important day and he couldn't ruin it, he had heard from the higher-ups of the company that a very important person would be visiting soon. The evaluation from the person would determine if they were going to keep their work and position.

"Okay, sir." The receptionist replied with a smile and quickly dialed another number.

"Security, there's a madman out here, come get him out of the reception." The woman spoke into the home and hung up.

Max had a cruel smile on his face while tapping his foot on the floor. He was going to leave once a minute was done and nothing Albert would say was going to bring him back.

"Hey, you were the one who knocked out one of us right?" A hoarse voice came just as Max was contemplating what to do next. It was a minute already.

Max turned around and looked at the group of security guards taking large strides toward him.

Max turned around and ignored them, he wasn't interested in fighting a group of trash. They were nothing much in his eyes and he could easily swat them away like flies.

"Hey, we are talking to you." One of the guards walked closer to Max tapping his shoulders.

Max frowned and caught the man's hand, twisting it at a 360° angle, a loud cracking sound was heard and the man screamed in pain.

Grabbing the man's hand, Max threw him across the room. The man hit the wall with a loud thud before falling on the floor unconscious.

"Huh!!"

The guards gasped in shock seeing this, they didn't expect that Max was going to be so violent, also he was good at fighting. They were sure it was going to take a lot of effort for them to subdue him.

"Get him out!" The receptionist yelled, afraid Max was going to hit her the next.

Immediately, the guards encircled Max ready to attack him.

Max looked at the security men who had surrounded him with a smile, he was going to teach them a good lesson before he left. It was already time and yet, Ethan didn't show up.

"Stop, what the hell do you think you are doing?!" A loud yell came just as the guards were about to attack Max.

Max turned around only to see a short chubby man running towards him.

"Mr. Max I'm very sorry for the delay, I didn't know it was you. Please forgive them for their impudence."

"Your time is up already, there's no need for me to stay any longer, also I'll recommend you to change your receptionist and teach your security men a lesson, otherwise I'm afraid they'll cause a huge loss to the company." Max smiled and turned around walking out of the building.
