Blood Cage

Elijah tried to figure out what was happening but Alice was in too panicked a state to give him any clues.

The best he could get was a name.

“Who is Claire?” Elijah questioned as he called up the agent who had been investigating Alice on his orders.

“She is Alice's daughter.” the man quickly replied, causing Elijah to pause.

Alice has a daughter?... But who was the father?

“Who's the father?”

“I don't know, boss, but she is 9 years old.”

Elijah frowned only for a thought to come to mind at that moment.

However, he didn't dare to think too deeply as he understood that for some reason, Claire was in danger.

He'd already sent Alice home with the driver so he planned on saving the girl with Thomas.

Sensing his desire, the system reacted almost instantaneously.

At the Blood Cage, a crowd surrounded the metal cage at the center of the stadium and were chanting loudly.

A fat middle-aged man held onto three chains tied to three ferocious wolves.

These dogs seemed to have been starved for a long time as they growled at a little girl not too far away.

The girl was covered in wounds and seemed to be on the verge of a breakdown as she was curled up in a ball and trembling in terror.

She'd been crying for so long that she couldn't cry any longer.

All she wanted was to return to her mummy but unfortunately, she had nowhere to go as she was trapped in the cage with the wolves and the fat man.

The crowd went wild with delight as they raised their fists and yelled out profanities.

“I'll start the bet, I bet that beat won't last longer than a minute in the cage. Ten thousand dollars!”

“I'll raise you by a quarter!”

Meanwhile, the girl grew even more frightened as she pleaded for mercy but no one cared to listen to her cries.

The fat man holding on to the wolves sneered. “Poor brat, your mother just had to go and offend the last person she couldn't. Since your family doesn't care about you, then why should I?”

Saying that, he let go of the chains and the wolves pounced on Claire, prepared to maul her to death.

However, right at that moment.

Elijah appeared!

He smashed through the cage and swung his leg towards the wolves.

Despite being tougher than humans, the wolves couldn't even survive one blow, dying instantly as a result.

The entire stadium went silent as everyone, including the fat man, stared in disbelief.

Just how strong did one have to be to kill three wolves with one kick?... There was no way this man was human!

The fat man's double chin jiggled as he tried to back away. “Who are you?”

Elijah ignored the question as he bent down to inspect Claire, quickly discovering that she had fallen unconscious out of fright.

Just looking at the scars on her body caused him heartache but he managed to remain calm.

He picked her up and handed her over to Thomas who didn't even bother hiding his anger.

How could one be so heartless that they wouldn't even spare a child, leaving her to the wolves to be slaughtered!?

“I know you,” Elijah muttered as he turned to face the fat man. “Fat Cho, you work for the Leroy family, don't you?”

“How do you know that?” Fat Cho asked as he instinctively took another step back.

Elijah wasn't about to inform the fat bastard that he was aware of everything that was required.

His information network was not to be underestimated and all it took was five minutes for Claire to be found and the culprits for her situation to be pinpointed.

At the center of it all was Mr. Leroy who would surely get what was coming.

But for now, he would make an example out of the bastard who did not have compassion for a little girl.

“How much did they give you to kill Claire?”

“Stop asking me stupid questions if you already know that I work for the Leroy family. Compared to them, you are just a nobody. Do you have any idea how much it cost to raise those wolves yet you killed them!”

Elijah gave no response and instead, rushed Fat Cho before he could even react, then the most shocking thing happened.

He grabbed Fat Cho by his collar and raised him off the ground.

Fat Cho couldn't believe what was happening as he exclaimed. “Put me down!... What are you doing?”

Elijah replied. “I live by a certain principle. Do to others what you want others to do to you. So since you are okay with feeding a little girl to wolves, then you should be okay with being treated in the same way.”

Fat Cho looked terrified and struggled to break free but Elijah wasn't about to let him go for what he'd done.

He dragged the fat bastard to where several bloodthirsty wolves were waiting and without hesitation, tossed him inside.

Screams of agony followed only to be drowned out by the cacophony of agitated barks.

Just like that, Fat Cho was torn to pieces alive by several hungry wolves.

In the meantime, those in the crowd didn't dare to wait around as they all fled for their lives, too terrified to help Fat Cho out.
