CHAPTER 11. BURIED RAGE

Rudolph laughed out loud at Oliver's accusation as if it was all a joke to him. He stepped closer, with a triumphant look that cut Oliver's heart deeper.

"Oh, how sad to hear that from a loser who can't even take care of his own woman." His voice lowered in mockery. "You're still living in an illusion, Oliver. The real world has no place for poor people like you. Once you get out of prison, do you think anything will change? Of course, no. You're still a loser!"

Oliver clenched his hands into fists. Rudolph's words hurt his pride and he felt so angry. Because of him, his life was ruined. In jail, losing a lover, even his family is in debt while his father suffers from heart disease and has difficulty getting treatment.

Now, Rudolph and Katie are having fun with their wedding without any guilt or apology. They can't be considered human with their lower-than-animal behavior. Even animals still had feelings.
