When Kraig heard Juan's words, he turned to Wynn and held her hand and then said,
"Don't we have something to do?"
Wynn did not understand what Kraig meant, but she nods her head, "Of course."
Jade's throat tightened, unable to digest what was happening.
'Was it the fact that Kraig was dressed elegant or that he was with Wynn that tortured her.'
There was no guessing, as Jade was overwhelmed by the fury that was coursing through her veins.
"Is this your way of exerting revenge Kraig?" Juan asked causing Kraig to stop in his tracks.
Swiftly, Kraig turned to look at him. Juan's words didn't affect his countenance. He looked just as dignified, exquisite and daunting.
Jade pursed her lips and took a deep breath, unable to believe that Kraig was over her.
'Thst can not be!' She thought.
"I did not know you could go to the extreme just to get your ex back." Juan wrapped his hands around Jade's waist from behind.
Kraig was satisfied with the fury in Jade's eyes and he taunted her further, "You too look good together."
He had deliberately mentioned it. Jade clenched her fist to suppress the fire in her heart.
"Kraig, is this your new way of impressing girls?" Jade sneered. "Renting an expensive car with a hefty loan just to woo them? I must say, it's quite the strategy."
Kraig's jaw clenched, his eyes narrowing as he said, "And is this your way of breaking up with me?"
Jade was startled by his words, "I broke up with you, cause I'm done. You are useless anyways."
Kraig's eyes narrowed at her forceful response, "Hold on to that, don't you dare change your perception of me."
'So rabbits for get angry!' Jade thought.
How long have it been...three years, it's been three. Jade thought as she stares at Kraig unable to believe the rudeness emanating from him.
Kraig had always been gentle with his words, and was careful around Jade.
She wasn't used to this side of him, and it vexed her.
"Enough Kraig, let's leave." Wynn grabbed Kraig's hands and was about to leave when Jade blurted out-
"Are you sleeping with him?"
Wynn swerved around instantly, "What do you mean Jade?" She yelled.
"Come on, I won't get mad at you. I'm just worried you have poor taste in men." Jade laughed.
"They must have done it in the car. Oh Wynn, you act so high and noble, never knew you are nasty!" Juan snaked out his tongue and laughed loudly.
Kraig's insides turned, he rushed to where Juan was and hit him with his fist.
There was a sudden satisfaction that spread around Kraig's eyes as he stared at Juan crawling on the ground.
He have always wanted to punch Juan for his relentless taunting and direspect.
Juan, fueled by anger and humiliation, quickly recovered and signaled to the security of the university.
Juan's uncle was manager of the university, and for this reason, he could easily use the security for bully and get away with it.
Jade watched with a smug on her face, as the security personnel approached, ready to apprehend Kraig.
Kraig stared at the guards as they approached, and for a moment, he prepared himself to take some blows.
Juan's stared at Kraig, his eyes darkened as he said to the security, "Beat him up."
Wynn's heart raced with panic. She grabbed Kraig's hand, urging him to flee, but they were surrounded, with no means of escape.
"This is all a misunderstanding, we are students, you can't beat up students." Wynn tried her best but the guards only listened to Juan.
"What are you waiting for?" Juan yelled at them, and one of the guard grabbed Kraig by his shirt.
Suddenly, the entrance to the parking lot darkened a bit, as a car drive inside. The guards stared at the car, as it drove directly at them.
They let go of Kraig and quickly rolled off the way for the car. The car stopped, and two hefty men stepped out of the car.
"Mr. Kraig, is everything alright?" One of the hefty man asked.
Kraig nodded, and then sighed. He held.om to Wynn's hand, who stood quietly behind him.
The men turned to the guards and beat them up. As Juan tried to interfere, he received a punch on his face, and he fell to the ground.
"Who the hell are you people?" Jade screamed at the men, as she laid Juan's head on her arms.
When the men was done, they turned to Kraig and excorted him out of the parking lot.
Wynn's mind was filled with so much curiosity as she stares at Kraig.
She was now even curious about Kraig's identity.
Juan frowned, as he bleed out from his lips. Rage hovered him.
"I will get my revenge." He muttered.
He grabbed his phone from inside his pocket, and dialed a number.
"I need your help!"
It was a regular day on campus, all the students were in maths class. As much as Kraig listened diligently, he was unable to stay focus. He couldn't help but notice that Wynn was staring at him. Since the incident at the parking lot the previous day, he had been trying his best to ignore her, but he knew that Wynn had many questions, especially about how he had suddenly come into wealth. The classroom fell silent as the teacher left, and it was then that Wynn seized the opportunity to approach Kraig. She leaned in and softly asked, "Kraig, would you like to go for lunch with me?"Kraig hesitated, his eyes avoiding Wynn's, and then replied, "I'm heading to the library, Wynn."Wynn's expression turned somber as she pressed further, "Kraig, I know you've been avoiding me. Can you please tell me what happened to you? You used to be... well, nobody."Kraig stumbled over his words, unable to provide a satisfactory answer, when suddenly, one of Juan's friends, Peter, swaggered over to them
The tension in the headmaster's office escalated to new heights as the headmaster's request for Juan and Griffin to kneel before Kraig was met with defiance. Griffin, with a scowl etched across his face, spoke up firmly, "I won't kneel to any student, and if you insist on siding with Kraig, I will withdraw Juan from this school immediately, and I'll ensure that all our family's donations cease." The Dean, taken aback by Griffin's threat, hesitated for a moment. The prospect of losing the influential family's donations weighed heavily on his mind. With a reluctant nod, he turned to the dean and said, ", perhaps we should reconsider the situation. Maybe Kraig is indeed the one at fault here." The dean, eager to avoid further conflict, quickly apologized to Griffin, his voice shaking slightly as he did. "Mr. Griffin, I apologize for any misunderstanding. We value our longstanding relationship with your family." Griffin's expression softened, satisfied with the dean's submission. He le
After the tumultuous events had settled and everyone had left, the headmaster approached Kraig, a solemn look on his face. He cleared his throat and began, "Kraig, I owe you an apology. I should have handled this situation better, and I'm deeply sorry for the trouble you've endured." Kraig smiled as he said, " It's no problems Headmaster." He wasn't at all friendly with the headmaster, as he knew very well that the headmaster had only sided with him because of his grandfather. The headmaster further asked Kraig to seat and when he asked about Kraig's classes, Kraig only nodded and tells him they were great. But then, the headmaster was a bit reluctantly regarding the words that was hung on the tip of his tongue. When Kraig noticed this, he scoffed, "Is there something else headmaster?" Kraig was dying to leave immediately, he had no idea how to quickly leave the office. "Actually there is." The headmaster smiled at Kraig. "I had no idea you are the son of the DeVille." "App
"Why, Kraig?" Wynn asked, her voice tinged with worry. "Why do you want to stop being friends with me?"Kraig, burdened by the weight of his secret life and the challenges it posed, hesitated for a moment. He knew that Wynn deserved an explanation, but he also wanted to protect her from the complications he was facing. He decided to be brutally honest, hoping that it would discourage her from probing further."I don't want to have any friends," Kraig replied, his tone resolute.Wynn, however, was not one to be deterred easily. Her eyes softened with compassion, and she smiled warmly at Kraig. "Well, you accidentally became my friend, and that's how it's going to be."Kraig couldn't help but be touched by Wynn's unwavering determination to maintain their friendship. Seeing an opportunity to lighten the mood, Wynn suggested, "How about we have lunch at Kipps? My treat."Kraig was momentarily taken aback by the unexpected invitation. But then he accepted,"All right, Wynn," he said, hi

The nurses turned to Kraig, startled by his sudden appearance. Madam Zury, who had been frail and quiet, looked up weakly, her eyes glimmered for a moment as she try to recognize the child standing in front of her. "Who are you?" one of the nurses asked, her tone defensive. Ignoring the question, Kraig approached Madam Zury, taking her frail hand in his. "It's me, Kraig. I've come to check on you." Madam Zury's eyes welled up with tears as she whispered, "Kraig, my dear." Kraig turned to the nurses with a stern expression. "This woman cared for me and countless others when we had no one else. She employed you, is this not enough reason to respect her?" The nurses exchanged glances and then looked at Kraig's casual attire—jeans and a plain sleeve. One of them couldn't resist a smirk. "Still struggling, are we?" she asked, her voice tinged with mockery. The other nurse chimed in, her laughter not far behind. "Yeah, and I wonder if he can even afford university." Kraig felt his f
Kraig carefully helped Madam Zury to her feet after the director's cruel slap. Her frail form trembled as she stood, her eyes still moist from the stinging pain on her cheek. Kraig's anger simmered beneath the surface, but for now, he focused on getting Madam Zury out of this place. As they made their way out of the room and into the garden, a sense of relief washed over them. The remaining children were gathered with Howie and Wynn, along with one of the more caring nurses who had always looked out for the kids.Madam Zury's gaze shifted to the children, and she paused in her steps. Her heart ached at the sight of the young faces, their eyes filled with confusion and concern. She turned to Kraig, her voice wavering with worry, "Kraig, my dear, I can't leave them behind. How will we survive, and where would we they go?"Kraig gazed at the children, realizing that there were about 14 of them, ranging in age from 6 to 10. He gently placed a hand on Madam Zury's shoulder and assured
