Aidan checked his wrist watch continuously. That had been his job ever since they got to the venue a few hours ago. It's few minutes to ten and his heartbeat accelerated with time. Cora observed Aidan who seems to be having restless sleep on his bed. He's been muttering Inaudible words since yesterday after the tragic death of his grandfather. Cora left out a sobbing sniff remembering how the two prominent men in her life died right in front of her. Aidan had passed out due to the gunshot wound in his arm, he'd lost a lot of blood and the arm would have become useless if not for the chemical fluid she'd injected into his almost useless arm but everything was fine now. He's physically okay but he's emotionally and mentally disturbed. Cora flinched at his cold words and dark aura and the truth hit her. The man sitting in front of her wasn't the snobbish, sarcastic, funny and jovial Aidan..... Aidan relaxed on the bed as he watched Cora sleep peacefully. He didn't have any choice but to put sedatives in her food, she's unable to sleep well and it worried him.
