Chapter 6

Clayton, who didn't understand Otto's words, could only nod in agreement with Otto's terms so that he could also know the truth about what had happened to him all this time. Who he really was, and why he had lost his memory.

The vehicle continued to drive until it finally stopped in front of a tall, luxurious building that was the continent's bank. They got out of the car and entered the bank. Clayton' arrival, together with Otto, made him welcome. Everyone in the bank seemed to bow their heads respectfully to Otto, even though the people there felt strange about Clayton.

"Good morning, sir." Several bank officers saluted Otto.

Everyone there noticed Clayton' appearance, who was wearing simple clothes and looked shabby. They all knew expensive and luxurious items, but none of them Clayton was wearing. But what surprised them was that Clayton came together with Otto. They all thought that Clayton was his servant.

The employee invited Otto to continue walking into a room until Otto finally met someone. That person is a great person in this bank. Greeted Otto with respect.

"Good morning, sir." The CEO of the bank greeted Otto kindly and respectfully.

Otto nodded his head in response. He raised his hand to Clayton respectfully. "Introducing, this is Master Clayton, my lord."

The Chairman's brow furrowed. He smiled slightly as he raised his hand to Clayton. "Ah, really?" He did not believe Otto's words that Clayton was a master. But the CEO was still very kind to Clayton. He extended his hand respectfully before Clayton. "Greetings, Master. I am the Chairman of this bank."

Clayton warmly welcomed the CEO's hand politely. They shook hands for a few moments. The CEO turned his attention back to Otto. "Is there anything I can help you with, sir?"

"Please take us to Clayton Arnould's vault," Otto said, looking at Clayton. His visit to the bank was to confirm and prove that Clayton was indeed his Master.

The CEO nodded his head, then raised his hand, pointing forward. "Come, I'll take you, sir." He invited Clayton and Otto to the VVIP guest room where Clayton' safe was located.

Otto raised his hand up, inviting Clayton to walk ahead of him to follow the manager into the VVIP room. "Come, Master."

Their footsteps went down a large hallway with various art paintings and ornamental plants on each side. The manager showed them the way to the VVIP room with tight security. Until they stopped in front of a door, the Chairman opened it wide while raising his hand politely. "Please, Master Clayton."

Otto and Clayton entered the large room. Everything there looked luxurious. Clayton was standing in front of a giant safe. Otto raised his hand, pointing at the safe door equipped with all kinds of advanced security. This safe uses a biometric security system that uses Clayton' identity as the password. It would also reveal and prove Clayton's true identity. Clayton was amazed to see that the security system at the bank was unquestionable. It was no mistake that this bank was the best.

The bank president raised his hand up, pointing at the safe. "Please place all five of your fingers on the small screen, then put all five of your fingers into the small box over there to be fingerprinted."

A confused Clayton simply complied with their request. He placed his palm on the small screen that instantly identified the lines on his palm, then inserted each of his fingers into the fingerprint machine as instructed by the bank manager. A beep signaled that Clayton's fingerprints had been successfully detected.

Otto removed the brooch from the side of his left pocket, then bowed his head respectfully to Clayton. "Sorry, Master. We must also ask for a little of your blood to open this safe as security."

Clayton nodded his head in agreement. He extended his left index finger, and Otto stuck the brooch needle on the tip of Clayton' left index finger. Fresh red blood flowed out of his fingertip.

Otto bowed his head respectfully. "Sorry, Master." Otto held Clayton's bleeding finger over a small blood detection device until a beep sounded, indicating that the blood matched the blood detected to open the safe.

Otto raised his hand to point at the small screen. "Please face the screen with one eye, Master."

Clayton brought his face closer to the device, and a beep sounded as a green light flashed, detecting Clayton' cornea. And the large safe opened under Clayton' name. Dust rose in the air as the operator of the security safe's voice said, password detected.

Otto smiled happily, finally able to prove it to Clayton. He raised his hand, pointing at the large open safe. "This proves that you are indeed Master Clayton who is my Master. And it also proves that you are the heir to the Arnould family."

Clayton, who was surprised to see all this, finally nodded his head. He understood that and accepted that his true identity had been proven. He looked at Otto with a stale pale face, still in shock. "I will receive treatment to restore my memory."

Otto smiled happily, listening. He bowed his head respectfully. "Thank goodness. I will provide the most excellent treatment for you, Master."

The safe contained many of Clayton's valuables, but none of them he remembered. Piles of gleaming gold bars were neatly stacked like blocks in the corner of the room. And heaps of money wrapped neatly in strong, clear plastic. Clayton didn't even step inside.

"How is it, Master? Do you now believe that you are my Master?" Otto asked Clayton. He answered with a nod of his head.

Otto nodded and signaled the Chairman to close the safe door as they had finished proving Clayton. The security closed the safe, then they left the VVIP room. Otto bowed his head respectfully to Clayton. "Master, I have to take care of a little problem to keep their mouths shut. Can you wait for me for a moment, Master?"

Clayton shook his head. "Sure. I still want to be in this bank. You guys just finish the business first. I'll wait." He liked the art paintings along the bank hallway. Still wanted to look around a little longer.

Otto nodded his head respectfully. "Very well, Master. Then, I'll be excused, Master." Clayton responded with a nod of his head. "Excuse me, Master."

"We'd like to excuse ourselves, sir. Please look around in peace. Please excuse us." The Chairman and the bodyguards also excused themselves from Clayton' presence. They went to another room to take care of something.

Clayton wandered alone until he reached the lobby, where he accidentally bumped into Ahren's cousin. Chris chuckled as he shook his head at the sight of Clayton folding his arms across his chest. "Gee, how can a poor person like you be here? A rotten hobo like you shouldn't be in this nice bank."

Chris's loud words made the people who had just arrived there look at Clayton contemptuously. They looked at him from head to toe. Clayton's shabby appearance made the people believe Chris's words. "Why is a hobo here? Is the security not doing a good job?"

Chris sneered at Clayton with a condescending look. "This guy must have broken through security just to get in here?"

Everyone was shocked. They snorted in annoyance. "Why would that happen? Is this bank about to be robbed?"

The customers who heard those words immediately became panicked and shocked. They looked at Clayton with sharp eyes while clutching their bags and valuables. Seeing this, Chris looked pleased that his words had affected everyone there.

Clayton looked around. He shook his head as he raised his hand. "No, I'm not a robber or a hobo like he said. I'm a bank user here too."

Clayton' words made everyone burst out laughing. "Bank user? Do hobos like you have the money to save in a bank this nice?"

"It's obvious from his appearance that he's a poor man with no money. Everyone knows that the people who deposit in this bank are the richest people in town. Look at him. Is someone who looks like that a rich person?" Chris raised his hand toward Clayton, trying to provoke everyone.

"That's impossible. He must be an impostor and wants to rob this bank!" shouted one of the male customers inside the bank, who was taken in by Chris' words.

Chris smiled happily. He raised both hands up. "Hide all your valuables. We can't let our guard down. Don't let him steal anything from us."

Everyone inside the bank immediately hugged their bags, wallets, and valuables tightly. Their eyes became more alert as they watched Clayton. Some even took a step back, keeping their distance from Clayton.

Clayton felt annoyed with Chris. He clenched his fists tightly as he glared at Ahren's cousin. "Watch your language. I'm not going to do something embarrassing like that!"
