"So, what about the things that happened during these two days? I heard a lot has changed because of you, sir…."

I broke the silence by daring to ask Axton about this, and I didn't want to delay my curiosity that had been pressing for answers regarding the changes that had taken place in Rebibbia prison.

"You and Monti must really be educated after your wounds heal, you can't be young people who don't have a clear direction and purpose."

Axton's sentence invites a question from me, what does it mean?

"Destination? Direction? But, our aim and direction are clearly in this prison. What else should we think, sir? What's more, I still need nine years and eleven months and ten days to get out of here. Even then, I don't know whether I can last that long or not," I said spontaneously. Although honestly, I've known Axton for almost a month, this is the first time I've dared to refute his sentence with a theoretical statement.
