060. About the Engagement

Hera got up from her seat and ran to her yard when she saw her husband's car arriving. She smiled expectantly, awaiting news of her daughter.

"What did Jasmine say? Have you succeeded in persuading her?" asked Hera.

Dimitri snorted. "I'm going to send the butler to meet Max's parents to break off the engagement officially. This is all Max's fault," he answered.

Hera's expression turned disappointed. She didn't expect her daughter to be this stubborn. "Do you also agree if their engagement is canceled?"

"Of course. As a father, I want to see my daughter marry the best man. I hope she doesn't have a husband like her father." Dimitri immediately stepped away from Hera's presence.

Hera was pensive at her husband's words. "I always forgive all your mistakes. Is it possible that you are already aware of all the mistakes you have made?" she muttered, staring at Dimitri's back, who had now vanished into the wall.
